I’ve started making my wedding signs. I’m looking for ideas of cute sayings. I’ve been looking on Pinterest and google images, but they seem to be very repetitive. I was wondering what awesome unique signs you have made or seen at weddings.
This is my work in progress so far.
I also did a general sign with our wedding day, and a ‘Best Day Ever’ sign. They still need to be cut and a final coat o shellac.
I was also thinking of doing:
– Love Sweet Love (for the dessert bar)
– You are the icing on my CUPCAKE (also for the dessert bar, we’re doing cupcakes… obviously, haha)
– For happy tears (for the ceremony hankies)
– Please sign our guest bench (we’re doing a bench instead of a book)
– Baby, it’s cold outside (winter wedding)
Any other ideas? I’m cleary in a sign making phase and I’d like to DIY as much as I can while I have the energy and ambition, hehe.
Thanks in Advance!

winterwoodlandbride15: Be careful with the size and placement of the words and the choice of fonts. That first sign is hard to read.

Where did you get those adorable bride/groom pens?!
PS The signs look great!!

That’s a picture off of Pinterest. Not my pens. Just an idea of the type of bench we are making.

The bench idea is soooooooo cute. Love that.

This was our drink! It’s what we always drink for our nightcap so we made it our siggy drink. Now the Etsy seller is using it as her store model 🙂

That’s awesome! I’ve been thinking about what to do for a signature drink… my Fiance doesn’t drink at all so it’s not obvious what to use.

That first sign is difficult to read!

Hmm, maybe it’s different in the pic? Everyone I’ve shown it to likes it. It’s also the first one I made, I’ll probably make another one.
Did you have any suggestions on sayings? That’s what I was looking for.

It’s the placement of the words and the fonts. It would read clearer if you did it on three concise lines like this:
There Is Always
or shorten it so it’s two lines like this:
There’s Always Room
For S’more Love
It just doesn’t flow well … the spacing or something is off to me.

Ellicott: i see what you are saying… i dont know if i should read up and down or left to right…. so my eyes go all overthe place trying to figure out which word is next…
But i like the font and colors 🙂

winterwoodlandbride15: We had a beach wedding. The first sign was at the walk way down to the beach, and the second sign was on the beach a few feet from where we held the ceremony.

MrsShane: Love those!! I see them on pinterest a lot. We’re having a winter wedding, so people will most likely want to keep their shoes on! haha
I’m doing a welcome sign outside the church
Best Day Ever

A beach wedding would be so nice! At least we’ll get to hit the beach on the honeymoon! 🙂
