Advice please! I'm deciding between Tendenza and Please Touch Museum. It's tough because we're hoping to have no more than 200 people (but inviting about 250) which feels too big for Tendenza but too small for Please Touch. We want the wedding to be unique, but also feel intimate.

Has anyone been to a wedding at either of these places with advice on wedding size and uniqueness? Any help is appreciated!!

Where are these venues? Can you post this to the local boards? That might be more helpful.

Based on Google searches of those venues, I think you're in Philadelphia, so I'm going to move your post to your local boards. You may get a better response there!

I got married at the Please Touch Museum this past June. I loved it!  I had a much smaller wedding than you, only 75 people with my reception being in the carousel room and I was worried it would be too small, but it worked out great.  I think 200 people in Hamilton Hall (I'm assuming that is where your reception will be) would be perfect!  If you're worried about size, you could always just put 8 people per table instead of the usual 10. THat is what I did to make the room feel less empty. I've had girlfriends who have been to weddings there with all sizes and size of the room was never a complaint, the rooms speak for themselves there. they are gorgeous!

I think I'd rather have a too big room than a too small room. You can always play with table arrangements and layouts to make it feel closer, but you CAN"T change it if it's too small.  I went to a wedding once and we were crammed in to tables of 10 and could hardly move your chair back to get out. It was awful.

    Good luck!!
