@smv22114:  Check out Charlene Soraia’s version of Wherever You Will Go.  It’s beatiful and I think it would work with his style of music.

@smv22114:  He could probably get pretty creative with the Goo Goo Dolls’ Iris too.  Scipt’s Man Who Can’t Be Moved is romantic.  Jason Mraz’s Won’t Give Up is another favorite.  Fade into You by Mazzy Star is another good one.

For some older songs I suggest: I Can’t Help Falling in love with You (lots of versions, Elvis did original), Can’t Take My Eyes Off You (again, lots of versions to choose from), and  the Pretenders I’ll Stand by You.

Personally, I love some Nina Simone.  Her version of Here Comes the Sun is a favorite.

@smv22114:  No problem! I really hope it can be of some use to you…I spent forever typing it! Haha! And yeah, I walked down the aisle to one of our friends singing Make You Feel My Love (playing it on acoustic guitar, too). Everyone was in tears. 🙂

@smv22114:  It was beautiful!!  Her brother is an amazing self taught guitarist and her cousin has the most beautiful voice ever!!

I wish I had a clip of her walking down the aisle to share!   It was amazing!!

@smv22114:  I think that is perfect.  But that is one of the songs I am thinking of walking to, also.  I love the thought of walking to a song we both know that has meaning to us, but I LOVE the instrumental too.

@smv22114:  I’m music illiterate it isn’t funny.  I know when I like something and I think music is the hardest part of the whole process.

I’m torn between a few songs right now.  Since we are now doing a Vegas wedding and not an Elvis type chapel, I LOVE Elvis, but found a perfect place that is beautiful and not cheesy I am seriously leaning towards Love Me Tender by Elvis.

FI very rarely puts his 2 cents worth in and when he said he thinks the bridal party should walk to Jim Croce’s Time in a Bottle, because he wants to save all our time together in a bottle… I had to say yes!!

So, it may possibly be Time in a Bottle and then Love me Tender….I don’t know
