Is your dress strapless?  If so, I say go without a bra.  Strapless bras (the non corseted ones) don’t do anything that the dress can’t do itself when fitted correctly.

you have Any pics of the dress

i would suggest a long line strapless bra if you must have one it gives you more support with being a D cup

but I also think your dress might be good enough with proper alterations

@asianbarbie:  Go bra-less. Your seamstress can add padding to the inside of your dress.

Because your dress fits well with no bra and is built to be supportive, you could go with no bra if you feel okay with that. I’m a D cup and wore one of those backless, strapless, sticky bras (from Target). It was fine and held up VERY well, but I wish I’d put one of the cups on lower because it kept peeking out, haha.

I am in a similar boat. I am also a 36D-DD. I bought one of the corseted bras for my dress because it looked great when I tried on the dress, however I wore it with another dress for my friend’s wedding, and it was SO uncomfortable. Like to the point where I was upset because it hurt so bad. I don’t want it to be like that on my wedding day- any suggestions for what to wear? I’m not sure if my dress has enough support to hold me up and in- but I suppose I could get it altered so I don’t need one? My boobs need something holding them up.
