Ok, I am going to be honest here, so please don’t be offended.

I would lose the lace on the wood, and is it possible to use wood that is a little thicker and more substantial?  What is that that is under the heart, but on the wood?  Books? I would lose that too.  Also, I would get rid of the heart, and use jars of different sizes on the wood, and perhaps put candles in them.

Or

You could use thicker wood (without the lace), and put some nice classic books on top and cluster the jars in sets around, as to not make a circle.

Good luck!

are you putting anything in the jar? if you want to put the wood there, maybe you can put the jar on top of the wood without the heart thing, you can also tie a navy sash on top of the lace you put on the jar or navy colour bow,

if you want to put the heart up there, take the thing on top of the wood away, and maybe replace the size of the wood with something thicker and smaller,  put the heart in a glass jar and put something in there (stones/beads) to make it stand still, then maybe wrap the jar in blue satin

OK, I have come back, but this time with pictures!

I really like the look of this, and instead of the pink flowers, you could use the navy blue ones that will also be on the chair sash.

Here are some great ways to include your table numbers!

And, you could stack books, then put 2-3 jars are different sizes on the books, and then scatter the jars and flowers around the center like in this pic.

I am having a hard time adding the heart, I think this is mostly to do with the height and size difference, compared to the other objects.  It just does not seem to be on the same plane.

@char20vess:  Definitely better yes! I think it’s quite unususual so I’m finding it hard to give advice. I think the pics savvy posted are better because they have some simple flowers too. I think you need something else from nature to tie it all together. I like the sand idea (or nice pebbles).

Instead of the heart could you have a taller central jar with some simple woodland flowers/twigs arranged nicely/a candle in. The heart seem to be a different style to the other things.

I personally think the tall glass with some ribbon around the twigs. I’m not very good at imagining things, it might look too plain but at least it is cheap to find out! I just think the heart itself is too different. I love the suitcase idea!

I think you should do a cluster of decorated mason jars with candles in! Perhaps sitting on the wood? Not sure the white heart really goes with the wood but I guess it depends what theme your doing 🙂
