I need help with my wedding theme. My colors are fuschia, orange, and white and im using a lot of diamond shape items for decoration. Im having a hard time to come up with the main theme.

You don't necessarily have to have like a subject type theme. You can just use colors as the theme. I think the fuscia and orange combo is awesome on it's own! What kind of diamond-shaped stuff are you talking about? You could incorporate an argyle pattern into the grooms ties or table runners or paper products, too.

I agree that sometimes color/pattern themes are often more effective than themes like "old Hollywood" or "wine" or whatever. Just decide what general style you're into (i.e. modern, vintage, rustic, traditional, funky), and use that and your colors to guide you.

We don't have a theme, just a feel and four complimentary colors. I think themes can be amazing, but so can understated weddings that reflect your personalities in more subtle way.

Hm, I agree with the others that a theme is definitely not needed.  At times, I think it can be much too much!  You didn't mention much about your likes, and dislikes style-wise BUT your colors reminded me of an argyle sweater I own!  Lol, if you're preppy and in to clean lines at all---I bet you could have a gorgeous argyle theme!  I haven't seen that too much.

We didn't have a theme so much ... just colours (black/blush/ivory) and a "feeling" (gala-style, mix of vintage and modern) and we did pretty well ...

Once we made a bunch of decisions (black suits, black tie for FH, pink for groomsmen, picked the wedding and bridesmaids dresses, and centrepieces) we put together a mosiac with the elements to check our progress.

It worked well for us. Sometimes "theme" wedding can be tricky!

im doing the same colors!!  we dont have a theme per se.  we're just going with that general color palette.  i was going nuts trying to come up with a theme (asian since we're both asian, island/tropical since we both met on a tropical island, florida/disney since its our destination wedding, etc.)  but our list of likes were getting too long and we're really falling in love with anything besides my colors so we just kept it at that.

    best wishes!
