So I have the venue, date, time etc…BUT I can not pick a theme….ahhh!
I have been set on Black and white for the ceremony and elegant rainbow for the reception.
THEN I had this “moment” where I thought about Vintage/elegant rustic. I think I like this Idea better but black white and rainbow seem better because I have a lot planed already. I am from the south but DO NOT want people to look at my wedding as a redneck wedding. I dunno Im so stressed out…Please help. Also I am on a TIGHT buget and doing this ALL myself!!! So any cheap places/sites to get things you know of would be great! =)

There are many factors that can radically change what someone might suggest for you. What is your venue like? Can you post pictures of it? Have you priced out decor options for both in your area? Does one option have more opportunity to you to borrow items from either your home or members of your families?
There is nothing about a rustic wedding that screams redneck, so I don’t think you have to worry about that.

Which theme is more “you” and FI? Also, what do you already have planned and would it be dramatic to shift?

Just choosing which one I personally like better, I’d go with the rustic theme. I think those offer so many more options. But, it really depends on what best represents you and your FI’s likes.

I think elegant/rustic is really over done in the south. Don’t get me wrong- it’s beautiful, but I think your first idea is more original 🙂

I like your first idea. I am inclined to think that i usually go back to my first “feeling” on just about everything. Trust your gut girl!

You could keep the black and white idea and combine it with elegant rustic, I think that would add something different from the rustic you see all over pinterest (honestly the pretty standard burlap is my plan) but adding elegant black and white lacey elements would be beautiful.

black, white and rainbow.. totally original 🙂 if that is more “you” than a vintage/rustic theme, do it 🙂
