I need some direction and I am trustin you ladies can help. We will be doing the colors of black, deep/bright purple and silver. We are getting married at an Inn in the mtns. Any guidance on a possible theme? Its starting to stress me out a little.

You don’t have to have a theme if you don’t want to. You can just pick your colors and leave it at that. If you really do want to have a theme, give it some time, and do some looking around at blogs for inspriration. It took me about four months into my planning before my theme hit me.

That’s a fantastic color palette! When are you getting married (season/month)? Are there any holidays around then? I think that’s maybe a place to start.
My immediate thought with a bright purple in the color combo is Mardi Gras, but if you use more of a deep eggplant color it makes me think of a swanky New York flat.
If you wanted something that was a bit more rustic feeling, since you are getting married in the mountains, you could use navy instead of black with the purple and silver and maybe some hints of green.
Go to Style Me Pretty and type in "purple" in the search box, there were several inspiration boards that popped up that might help you narrow down the look/feeling you want. Good luck!

Tentatively April 2010 though we did consider Oct 2010. Im not going quite as dark as eggplant simply because there are so many variations of it that I have seen already.

I dont think you need to have a theme, your colors are almost your theme. Beautiful color choices!

Yeah I agree that you don’t need a theme. Although, sometimes the themes just make themselves. Just give it time.
