SO my first idea was to kinda go vintage, but not the shabby chic vintage. My wedding dress has a full lace back with lace on the shoulders and my bridesmaids have black dresses with lace shoulders. I would just like some ideas that would go with that style and look. If it’s not vintage then thats ok but something to where the lace will still make sense. any color add in woiuld be ok. My current favorite is B&W Damask with some yellow, Peacock, a moulin rouge type, etc.

@MarineFiance: That’s a lot going on! To be honest, I don’t see peacock and yellow going with Moulin Rouge. Instead, I see red, black, white, and maybe some touches of gold or silver. Can you show us pictures of your dresses and what you’re sort of envisioning?

I have a lace dress, too, and am going with the vintage theme. I’m really looking back on Victorian and early 20th century weddings to help me out as well. 🙂 My bridesmaids aren’t wearing any lace but they are wearing red and I have tried to include it in things such as decorations.
I have touches of silver and gold as well. I’m also using pearls too because that really carries the vintage theme for me. 🙂 I hope this helps!

We don’t really have a theme. I just describe our wedding as traditional, formal, elegant, and romantic.

@MarineFiance: Pintrest is your best friend! I am allways looking up fun new ideas that help express what I am trying to express with my theme. I am going with Gothic Glam/Dark Romance.
