I am concerned my wedding theme is not cohesive. Thoughts?

i think it is cohesive. However you, the bride, are going to be the only person concerned with this. So if you like it go for it. I have never been to a wedding and thought well the dresses don’t match the decor or the centrepieces don’t create flow with the chair covers. As a guest my main concern after witnessing the marriage is the food, seating (enough and comfortable) and that I am having a good time.

julesbeeb:  some brides think it is ok to not have a seat for every bum. That was what I meant. My own BIL did that at his wedding. Only had enough seats for the family at the ceremony, meanwhile senior citizens that weren’t family were standing in the extreme heat. My husband and I got up and gave our seats to friends of his grandparents. The bridezilla that BIL married told us off at the reception for ruining her wedding. Some people I tell ya.

I think it will look great. Definitely cohesive to me. Good luck!

I think it’ll look beautiful 🙂 we are going for bluey-purple hues, but those colors are so hard to find that we are incorporating a range of blues as well! Think of the colors of mountain ranges at dusk. The thing I’m starting to think is weird (although it’s probably just overthinking) is that we’re getting married when the sun is at the highest point on the longest day of the year! And our invites are multi-colored, watercolor, hummingbird themed. Which I love, but, wow! It’ll take some doing to pull it all together. I think what you’ve set out for yourself will be easier 🙂

I think it’s looking beautiful! I am very colour-sensitive and quite focused on colour themes looking ‘cohesive’ and I think yours is really lovely.

julesbeeb:  I think it looks beautiful. Your inspiration pictures all have an etherealness to them. This is definitely a cohesive look.

Everything is gorgeous!  My daughter used sequin linens in a blush color.  They definitely make a statement.  I love your choices.
