I am definitely someone who never thought about getting married until I got engaged a few months ago. After joining the bee I realized there are A LOT of elements I have never known about: engagement photos, brides paying for bridesmaids, proposing to bridesmaids, getting two wedding bands. What are some new elements you have learned about from the bee?

@Lbward6: everything you listed (except I always thought that brides paid for bridesmaids), plus groom’s gifts, a whole slew of ettiquette rules, and boudoir photos.

@housebee definitely boudoir photos too! I feel so oblivious to wedding things haha, hopefully this will help me not miss anything important!

@Lbward6: I found that weddingbee was a great tool for “double checking” things (i.e. grammar, wording, what looks better, etc), especially if you add a poll lol.

Centerpieces. I had always assumed that the venues provided these, LOL.
Professional photographers. I didn’t realize they all had their own unique style until we started doing research. We quickly learned that it is important to pick one whose style we admired and not base our decision on budget alone.

@Lbward6: I’d never heard of moissanite/ASHA/Amora. And I’ve never seen them for sale in the city I live in. I’d love to see moissy IRL to see the fire everyone talks about.
