My fiance (I love the sound of that!) and I are trying to set a date.
As of right now, our venue of choice has an availability for November 5th, 2011. If i could choose, it would be sometime late September, or early October, but those dates are all booked up.
Our anniversary is April 14th – which happens to fall on a Saturday in 2012.
I feel like its SO cold in November (I live in Canada), however, I want my main wedding color to be red.
Can I do red for an April wedding, or would it be best to stick with the November 5th date?? I’m soo unsure of what to do!
How did you pick your date??

Red would be gorgeous for a wedding, no matter what month it’s in!

I definitely think you can still do red! It’s whatever you want, dear! I looked a lot at theperfectpalette.blogspot.com for color inspiration. I think you can still make red feel like spring as long as you have the right flowers/fabric/decorations or whatever.

I agree, red could work for a spring wedding. Maybe try pairing it with a bright, fun color, like aqua?
If I were you, I’d go with the April date because it already has meaning for you and it would give you extra time to plan.
We chose our date because I’ve always wanted to get married in October and it was the only date available at our venue within the timeframe we wanted.

I agree with the others – use red at whatever time of year you want. There are no rules to this!
