I'm getting married on May 22nd and yes I have counted how many paychecks and what bills I have to pay before then and It makes me sick to my stomach =/ there's like 3 "large" bills that have to be paid off in the next 3 weeks and I'm scared! =/
I am with you!! I am also getting married May 22nd YEEEAAA us! I count everything lately. I think because we are so close. Its 32 days. I look at what is left and get so scared we wont make it. I wish you luck! Just try to reframe from an extra spending.. I think we should be okay :)
hah I haven't really thought of it like that. I get paid 1/month so I guess I have 9 or 10 to go. We're taking a set amount out of every paycheck though to save and most of the big payments come at the end, so I'm hoping that by the time we have to make them our wedding account will be big enough to do it. Fingers crossed for careful planning!
Wow, I was just doing the same thing. I have 4 paychecks until my wedding and I still have to finish paying the photographer and the tent rental. It is making me nauseous thinking about it! I'm thinking about picking up a part time job for extra money!
amandagrace - I literally woke up sick to my stomach this morning because I'm running out of weeks and paychecks =/ thank god my FI told me he'd pay for the alcohol because its just not in the budget! I'm just hoping my mom pulls through and is able to at least split the remaining cost of everything with me!
Definitely! I also think of it in terms of OMG! I'm spending how much money for this ONE day?? I could do this or that with that much money!! 
I am so glad to see that I am not alone in this. I have 4 paychecks before my wedding and so much to do. FI just does not understand why I am stressing so much.
I know that when it gets closer to mine, I will probably be doing the same thing, lol. I feel for ya!
We did it the other way around...we figured out how many paychecks we had left to the wedding when we first got engaged & then how much expenses were at the time for the previous month & month at the time & put ourselves on a strict budget. Then, as we planned, we asked vendors about credit card payments. Now that the final payments are due, FI & I have enough in both our accounts to cover the credit card, thanks to meticulously careful tracking of spending (thanks, Excel sheets!). But this had to happen right when we started planning or I'd be biting my nails to feed me for dinner tonight!
Yep! We were counting paychecks - it helped us stay on budget. Sometimes it seemed impossible, but we scraped by somehow lol

Has any of you budget brides ever counted how many paychecks you will get before your wedding??? I was figuring out bills and whatnot and realized my wedding isnt for month but we are only 2 paychecks away!
This kinda made me freak out a little. With those two paychecks we have to pay 2 months of rent, electric, cable and insurance bills. Car payment, my hair trial run, 2 tux's, and gas to get back and forth to work, plus gas to do the multiple trips we have to take for the next few weeks up to the wedding site and my parents house which is 150 miles away.
Oh dear....wondering how I'm gonna pull this one off....
Any other ladies ever thought about it like this????????
