We skipped all that crap.  People told us we can’t throw rice cuz birds eat it then they explode. Bubbles take too much time.  Birdseed seems like a PITA to wrap up in tulle.

 

Besdies, the brides I know who DID do that stuff warned me that you are then picking birdseed or rice out of every crevice of your body and dress the rest of the night.

Usually when you’re coming out of church. . . at least every wedding I’ve ever been to has been that way. 

We’re having our ceremony outdoors and plan on passing out ribbon wands they’ll wave as we walk back down the aisle for a splash of color.

@BostonStacy:  Your not supposed to throw rice anymore cause of the birds, but alot of people throw confetti and usually it is just when you leave the church or other wedding venue as you and the new Mr.  walk out to your “just married” ride :p

Our venue doesn’t allow rice or confetti so we are doing bubbles.. this is generally upon exit from your ceremony or your walk back down the isle.
