I am a street size 22/24 bride-to-be. Every fancy affair I attend (prom, graduation, weddings, etc) my biggest problem is always finding a bra and slimmer to wear underneath. By God's good graces (or my fiancé's good wishing) I am "blessed" with a 38 G chest (big enough to have their own moons orbiting them..LOL!). Are there any busty ladies that have had success in finding well-fitting, supportive bras and slimmers?

A genuine custom-made steel-boned corset i your very best friend as a slimmer and support for large bosoms!

Well I can't help you out bra wise as I'm still "blessed" as my fiance loves to think haha but not quite that blessed! haha  As far as shapers I got a Spanx that comes up to the bustline though and I haven't had my wedding yet but I have worn it for a few other occasions and it works great!  I see a lot of mixed reviews on them on these boards, but most people I have seen love the ones that go to your bust line but they hate the ones that don't go as high.

I had similar problems. I'm a 38F and was worried that nothing would fit under my gown. David's Bridal had a special corset bra (don't know what to call it) in a 42D that ended up fitting the girls. It's a little bit smaller but it gives them a lift LOL

I have to agree with that Spanx.  They have one that goes up to the bustline and has a clip that hooks to your bra so it doesn't roll down. Works wonders!!!

Look at JC Penny! They have a few strapless bras and a couple bustier's. I know one goes up to 40 H and one there goes up to 50 G. They have bones in the cups so it actually gives support. I'm a 40 F myself so im always on lookout for a good supportive bra!
