I have my dress, but I cannot decide on the length of the veil. I have it narrowed down to a waltz length or cathedral. I am posting a picture below of me in the dress, along with someone wearing the dress with a cathedral veil. However, I have heard that a waltz veil adds the same dramatic effect without all the hassle. What do you guys think?

It’s hard to tell without seeing a picture of waltz length, but I’ve heard that sometimes they fall at an awkward length. Looking at the length of your train, I’m worried that might be the case with your dress.

@fresnodress: Okay, thank you for your opinion! That is what I was afraid of.

How about chapel length? That should theoretically fall just beyond the hem of your train? I tend to like a small overlap between veil and train, it looks very elegant. Love your dress, you look amazing!!!

@Oxfordnerd: Thank you so much! I actually had originally thought that chapel length would be ideal, but I am having trouble finding one!

I bought my veil from Occansey designs (http://www.occanseydesigns.com/) and although I have to admit that it is still sitting in a box in my sister’s apartment in NYC and I haven’t seen it yet (I live in the UK but wanted to save on shipping costs since I’ll be heading over there next month anyway) I’ve heard nothing but good things about the company. Possibly worth checking out? They can customize pretty much anything and their prices are the best I’ve seen!

I love the idea of a cathedral veil with your dress, but think that a chapel would be lovely too! Best of luck finding your perfect veil! 😀 Your dress is beautiful, btw!
