So I just had my wedding, and it was so wonderful, and I wanted to share some vendor reviews for all the other NE Florida Brides!

Ceremony: Immaculate Conception Catholic Church - B - So...I am not a parishioner at Immaculate Conception, but I chose it above St. Michael's in Fernandina Beach because I loved the way it looked. And it is indeed a gorgeous church, and overall the ceremony was good, but absolutely everyone hated the priest and his homily, as well as the way he ran the rehearsal. And after the wedding, they immediately came up to me while we were taking pictures to remind me to pay them their tip so that they could leave - how rude!

<font size="3"><font face="Calibri">Reception/Flowers/Cake – Ritz Carlton Amelia Island – A+++ - the Ritz, as well as my wedding planner, Kasey, were so awesome in every way! They did the food & beverage, provided the reception locale, and they did the flowers and the cake. </font></font><font face="Calibri" size="3"> </font><font size="3"><font face="Calibri">DJ – Will Deaton from Resort Talent – A+ - I got in contact with Will through the Ritz, and I LOVED him!! He was young and fun and matched our crowd perfectly – absolutely no mistakes, he kept communicating with me throughout the night to make sure everything was going on the schedule I wanted. I have no complaints :) </font></font><font face="Calibri" size="3"> </font><font size="3"><font face="Calibri">Makeup – Sunshine Jones – A – although Sunshine did come a little late on the morning of the wedding due to missing the ferry, that’s really the only negative, and it all turned out fine. She traveled to Amelia Island to do makeup of me, the mom’s, and the bridesmaids (which is a lot of people!), and I loved the look. If you want pics, just let me know! </font></font><font face="Calibri" size="3"> </font><font size="3"><font face="Calibri">Hair – Cheryl Newton, Changes Salon – A++ - So, I am biased b/c Cheryl has been my stylist for 5 years now, but I just love her! She did the exact hairdo I wanted, and she also did the hair of 5 of my bridesmaids, all in a pretty short time- and my hair was only $30, and the b-maids all paid that or less – a great steal! </font></font><font face="Calibri" size="3"> </font>

<span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'">Photographer – Leah Powell – A+ - So far, I have just seen the sneak preview  of my pictures (which you can see by going to www.leahpowell.com, then sneak preview, then the password is Kat), but I love them so much – and she got it turned around in only 2 weeks after the wedding, how amazing is that?? She’s expensive, but if you want gorgeous and very artistic pictures, I would recommend her!

Whoops, sorry for all that! Let me re-type that 2nd part so it is easier to read:

We met with Kasey several times, she made sure we had everything we need, she even gave us a bargain on a huge suite for the night of the wedding - and she helped to set up my menus, my guest book, etc. etc. so I didn't have to. I would highly recommend them!!!

DJ - Will Deaton from Resort Talent - A+ - I got in contact with Will through the Ritz, and I loved him!! He was so young and fun, and totally matched our crowd - there were no mistakes, he kept communicating with me throughout the night to make sure everything was going on schedule. I have no complaints!

Makeup - Sunshine Jones - A - She did arrive a little late on the morning of the wedding due to missing the earlier ferry, but that's my only complaint. She traveled to Amelia Island to my salon to do everyone's makeup, and I loved the look,and it lasted all night!
