Have you tried looking at Texas Old Town in Kyle? They have really good prices, and let you pick your own caterer (we're using Pok-E-Jo's, and getting a super good deal on that too!)
Good luck with your planning!
Try some places in Boerne there is Joshua Spring Park 500 bucks with a 500 deposit you get back. I am also still looking for a venue around Boerne/San Antonio.
I am getting married at a new venue in Paige, TX. It is a little way away from San Antonio, but I think that it would be very affordable. It is a great venue if you are looking for something rustic. The website and pricing aren't even completely set because it is so new.
Here is the link to the venue:

Hello! My fiance and I have been engaged since April and were waiting to plan our wedding for a bit to save money. However, due to work related issues, we are now trying to plan our wedding within the next 3 months. (And NO i'm not pregnant!) We live in San Antonio, TX and would like to have the wedding around the central Texas area. We have a budget of about $4000 for everything and are hoping to get the best bang for our buck. Any suggestions on inexpensive venues or unique locations to have our wedding? Thanks in advance for any help!!!
