sunflower1214:  I’m getting married In Dennisport in May. It’s about an hour and a half from the city. and my budget is $15k. We’re getting married at Corsair & Cross Rip. We rented a house on the property and will be having a tented reception and beach wedding. Though he doesn’t have everything on site he has a tent company and caterer that they work hand and hand with and the process was completely painless.  They also re-did every room and house on property and they look amazing (there website hasn’t been updated yet) So far I’ve very happy with my decision! here’s there website and FB link!

sunflower1214:   Check out Groveland Fairways and Andover Country Club.  Those were my two favorites (I went with Andover CC since Groveland was a bit far, just about 1 hour) for the lowest price (only ~30-35/plate, additional cost for apps and drinks).

Independence Harbor was really nice also, but we didn’t like the fact that we had our tour WHILE there was a wedding going on and they had us walk about in the middle of the wedding cocktail hr amongst the guests.

Maudslay Estate in Newburyport has the full rental, and you can get alcohol from Kappy’s (they’ll pick up unused and refund you) and food from a couple of places like Chicken Connection in Haverhill, MA or the BBQ place in Peabody or Danvers that I forget the name of but has good reviews.  Another option is getting some local seafood, but that might top your budget.  I had my engagement photos at the park, and it’s beautiful any season.  Stone bridges, gorgeous gardens, etc.
