What an awesome venue! I bet the pics will be fabulous. I’ve never really been to a themed wedding. But it sounds like fun. Especially the 1940’s apsect. I love that era.

That sounds like a really romantic idea (this Pearl Harbor movie).  I did a quick google search and there’s lots of ideas out there.  Good luck!

That’s a pretty freakin’ cool venue location! I wish I would have searched harder for a unique place too!

Oh I’m soooo jealous! We’re having a wedding with airplane touches throughout (we’re a long distance couple who practically lives on American Airlines)! I would love to find a location like that here….

USO! How awesome… there was an episode of the Gilmore Girls where Rory hosted a USO party- it was fabulous! There were signs about buying bonds, everyone was in costume, they had wonderful live singers… I loved it.

As for invites– have you thought about boarding pass invitations? I’ve designed & made ours. Everyone who I’ve shown them too has flipped about how great and original they are. It ties our theme in perfectly.

There’s lots of inspiration on the web that I’m sure will come in handy for planning your wicked awesome wedding! All the best!!

Stacey… I love the old postcard invite- it would match your theme perfectly 🙂  Ooh lala! A pin-up girl outfit? Thats definitely very risqué!!

I’m doing that for my FI’s wedding gift… he loves the pinup girl look!

That is so freaking awesome! I love weddings that are not cookie cutter! And its an expression of your FH! … I find it a little hard to see an expression of the guy in the wedding. Usually, its all about the woman.

LOVE this idea so much! My FI is in the air force and we really wanted to take our e-pics very vintage-WW2 style, but it didn’t end up happening. I cant wait to see pictures!

That’s so awesome!!!! My friends grandparents used to live in Fredericksburg. What an amazing venue! I would totally do a vintage WW2/’40’s theme with that. How fun!!!
