Check out Cannon’s Resturant in Laguna Beach.  It overlooks the ocean, has great food, and is generally affordable.  We looked there for our wedding, it was our second choice… Well worth checking out!

@mslovebug:  I got married at Point Vicente and Terranea and Trump hotels are nearby but they’re VERY expensive. Point Vicente itself is very reasonable to get married at and I highly recommend using Summit Events for catering

@mslovebug:  I REALLY wanted to get married at the historic library in Redondo Beach. It’s on a hill overlooking the beach and is just beautiful. The long beach art museum is another awesome on the water venue.

Shutters on the Beach or Casa Del Mar, the Johnathan Club… all $$$$ though.

La Vante Inn in Palos Verdes is amazing.  I’d also second the Long Beach Museum of Art.  I looked at both and loved them, but we ended up booking a hotel in Pasadena so we wouldn’t have to deal with transportation.
