Wedding video in the UK (London/Kent)

I’m not sure what your budget is, but have you tried Shoot It Yourself? They give you the cameras for the day, and then you send back the film for editing.

You could also ask an amateur/student videographer? They often want portfolio pieces and you could always look at getting it professionally edited Smile

@Rachael1287:  You’re welcome! I did see a package when I considered them that was around £400, but I’m not sure what that involves exactly or if you’d need any extras. We have no budget for videography as we both hate watching ourselves on camera, but I’m starting to regret it!

 

I know Regents College has a lot of media based stuff. There’s also the Met film School and National Film & Television school. Maybe email the faculties and ask if any students would be willing to do it for a (small) fee and use of the video in their portfolio? We looked into doing this with local music colleges for our string quartet. I suspect that almost any university offering media-based courses will have budding videographers hanging around!
