Our videographer requests we select a song for each event in the day: bridesmaids walking down the aisle, me walking down the aisle, photos being taken, father/daughter dance, mother/son dance, etc.
This feels like too much to me? Our video is probably only going to be about 30 minutes… I’m worried if there’s 20 songs in there for each event it’ll be like a choppy half song for everything and won’t flow very nicely. I’ve only ever see our videographer’s “youtube trailers” so it’s hard to tell how they will blend the music.
What did you do? What should I do?

What were the sample videos you saw when selecting your videographer like? Did they have a ton of songs? If so, did you like them? Definitely something to talk to your videographer about.

@DanceawaytheNight: no because they were just trailers (3-5 mins long), they were one song only. We are getting married in the Dominican so we didn’t have a great selection of photographers to choose from. We kinda went with the most practical one, not the one that wowed us the most. He has AMAZING reviews everywhere I’ve looked so that was promising and he’s really nice but communicating over email is difficult unfortunately. I wanted to see if what he was asking was the norm or unusual…
