Ive seen so many coments RE: hiring a videographer or not. And i thought id share our personal experience. We hired a mid range priced videographer who did an amazing job.

Im so glad we did it was worth every cent. Even my husband who didnt want one was so happy we did it once we recieved our footage.
My husband and i think the video captured the day perfectly and we have watched it heaps alot more than our photos and we got a full video and a highlight reel the highlight reel is good to share around for all your guests to see. or people who didnt make it to the big day.

I cant wiat until we have children and get to share it with them.
Please take a look and see but personally it was definatley worth the money.

i agree with you. Pictures are nice but a video also captures the emotion and movement obviously. I want to see the action. Lol and plus Darling Husband sang to me so I needed that on video. Plus we want to show our kids

Is still don’t know for how much time should I hire a videographer, 8 or 10 hours? Any suggestions from your experience?

Ms_Destination Wedding_bee: Hi – we hired for 10 hours as we lost 1 hour for breaks and 1 hour in travel otherwise 8 hours is plenty to cover the getting ready through to your first dance/speeches ect.

MrsHickmott: What a beautiful video. Mid-range got you that? Wow! Now I feel like a fool for splurging a bit on video and photography 😛
Beautiful wedding, loved the details, the tree for messages, the venue! Congratulations 🙂

Thanks everyone for the lovely comments – i did all the little details myself as another way of saving costs. My bestie only had her ceremony filmed and it was still stunning. We could have got a cheaper or more expensive videogrpaher but we chose one that fit us well and understood our vision and it made all the difference – even if you cant afford a video id get someone to hold a camera to record your ceremony
