Oooo I made them a long time ago when I was a princess for halloween!!!! HAHA. YOu can buy really cheap ribbons and dowel rods. I always used hot glue and it worked out fine!
PS i like your idea and might steal it if my location is not keen on bubbles or sparklers.

Wow thank you! I've seen a few different ways to do it and I'd like to avoid having to drill the dowels if possible :)
I just like the thought of us exiting the church and having all these flowy ribbons around us and not bubbles!!!

I am not a huge fan of the whole blowing bubbles thing when we exit the church... and of course, throwing bird seed is not an option!
I'd like to make the wedding wands for my guests to wave as we exit the church and head to the reception. I'm pretty crafty but since I've never made them before, I'd like any suggestions of the easiest way to make them (and most efficient!). Have you had to drill holes to attach the ribbon or were you fine just hot glueing it?
