i did feel this way, but luckily my wedding planner gave me access to a sample wedding website. so i just the wording from there and tailored it!  it saved alot of time AND stress!  i am sure you can google sample sites to get you started.

I did feel very overwhwhelmed, but now its done, i love it!!!! 

I also do wedding websites for brides that want their own site that isn’t linked to a general wedding site.

@floridabride12: yes, it’s super hard! some of my friends are genius graphic designers, so I felt so worried that my own designs were not going to measure up. take all of that pressure, and then add all the time I need to spend scraping together the actual content of the website (hotels, photos, sightseeing, etc), and gah! so much work!

I remember thinking “why, oh why didn’t I just use a template! aaargh!”

I’m still a little unsure of my work, but it’s too late now, the home page is live and the save the dates have been sent! now I’m dragging my feet on getting the invitations printed 🙂
