I’ve looked through weddingwire, theknot, mywedding, weddingwindow, and every wedding-themed website-builder I can find, and I am just not impressed. I want to create a wedding website for information as well as use an online RSVP, but none of the templates out there satisfy me! I’m stuck between being too picky and web-savvy to settle for a template but not developery enough to create my own from scratch.
Have any bees created their wedding website through WordPress or Google? I’ve seen people doing so, but does that include online RSVP? Or maybe know of any tutorials?

@Fanciful: Have you looked at mywedding.com? We like their interface and it includes online RSVP for free.

@Fanciful: We made ours through google because we want the ability to blog on it in the future. We wants more of an Us website than just a wedding website, if that makes sense. FI is wayyyyyy savier than I am but we’ve noth navigated it fine. Very easy.
I don’t know about online RSVPs since we did the old school paper route.

@Fanciful: My friends made a wordpress wedding site with online RSVP. The husband is a web developer, so he made it himself.
My husband is a developer too, but didn’t want to spend the wedding site, so we just used a mywedding.com template that had online RSVP. It was fine for our purposes.

I did mine using wordpress and then bought our domain…
I used the rsvp part of weddingwire, but built it into my wordpress site.

@TravelingBrit: How did you manage that?

i did mine with weddingchannel because it was simple and easy to do (i am def not tech savy). I know you said you weren’t impressed but I thought it came out pretty good. LOL (again, i am NOT tech savy, so its simple and basic…but i tried to personalize it for us.haha)
