Hello! We're trying to figure out if we should put all the info on our wedding location, ceremony, reception times, etc. on our wedding website since the guests will get a link to it about 2 months before the formal invitations. Is that ok? Should we not include that info until after they get the invites? They are getting our website info with our save the dates. we have about 50% of people coming in from out of town.

I don't see why not. We included the link to our website address on our STDs and, tbh, it hasn't gotten much traffic. And we have a pretty tech-savvy guest list.

I would/we did. We put the link on our STDs. Some of it wasn't finished (like some of the sections) but the general stuff was there. Like @atalante: we haven't gotten a lot of traffic either, and it's mostly been the guests I considered LESS tech savvy who have found it and written in the guestbook! Lol.

Yeah we had all the info on there months before the invites went out.  Now that our invitations are out, we're still having people ask us questions about info that's available on the website and in the invite itself.

ok thank you! looks like we should put it on there. I guess I'm guessing it will get traffic but from what it sounds like it probably won't :)

I did the same. Put my website on the std. I think its fine to do that. People that went to it really liked it. I think more people will look at it when its closer to the date. I am also putting a 'wedding deails' card in with the invites. Our location is a bit complicated so i have outlined directions, times, etc. What other info could we put on the website besides the basics ( when, where, hotel, attire, pics of us, guestbook.. Etc) Lets get creative!!

yes i put all the info on there

we booked everything and as we booked them i added it to the site.. and the website is on the STDs.. i also linked it to my FB page as there will be associcates that are not invited ( due to costs) but would like to know about the wedding and info

i added a several  bonus pages

    1) with why we choose our theme

    2) i added another bonus page with items to do in our area for out of town guests with links to events as our wedding is a holiday one an theres tons of shopping and shows\

    3) bridal party and pics and relationship to us
