I hadn’t planned on having a wedding website, but I think it may be the easiest way to get information to people.
Here’s what I have so far: http://www.theknot.com/ourwedding/AbbyJakoplic&ChrisArnold
Opinions? Anything you would expect to see that you don’t?

I think it looks good! Maybe add in something about wedding attire/dress code? I always find that helpful 🙂

WIll there be any out of town guests at the Reception? Some KC hotels might be good here. Parking information for the ceremony and reception? Handicap accessibilities if applicable. Stuff to do in the area. I take it you don’t have rooms blocked at a particular hotel right? You might be able to get some group rates that way, then you’ll also need to include a book-by-to-get-the-special-rate deadline.
Other than that it looks really nice!

I think you’ve got it covered. The only bits that are on mine that aren’t on yours are little stories about how we met, who we are, and how we got engaged. Most people already know those stories about us, but I like telling them.
You’ve got the important basics covered. And covered well.

I can’t think of much else to add, but honestly I was kind of looking to see what I needed to add to mine. Does everyone know how to get to the ceremony location? And where to park? Also, on a side note, I was at Waterway cafe last December. It looks like everything will be very pretty!

I think it looks good! I really like your engagement pictures, too.
If you wanted, you could also include something about what you expect people to wear/the dress code. I included an “FAQ” tab on my website that included a question about what people should wear.

I have to say, your e-photos are lovely!
anyways is your wedding a destination wedding? (i only ask because thats what it says up top on your webpage) IF it is, it would be nice for guest if you did like local popular hot spots. since guest will probably be there for the weekend they could plan ahead for the days that aren’t your wedding for things to do in the city…

Thanks for the feedback!
I didn’t add an “About Us” section since we’ve been dating for 7 years and we both know each other’s families pretty well; but it would be a fun section to add! I think I’ll add that!
I didn’t book a block of hotels in Florida since we have so few people coming (under 20) and everyone wanted different rates; some wanted as cheap as possible, others wanted a resort so they could stay for a vacation. For the KC reception, everyone except for a couple are local, and those people have already made arrangements.
And yep, it’s a destination wedding.
