I believe you have to buy your own url, but I am not sure.
We are using www.mywedding.com and our website address is super simple. It's basically www.mywedding.com/janeandjoe
The really nice thing about mywedding.com is that it was free and offers great websites with lots of features (music player, rsvp etc) and lots of pretty designs.

The weddingwire website just added an option to get your own url. I'm pretty sure you have to pay for it but it can't be more than $10/year.
We used www.ewedding.com and we were able to create a url with our names.

Lots of options...also try weddingwindow and wedshare (we chose this one, its awesome)
Also, you can make one from scratch using wordpress or if you have a MAC

I made my site for free with Google Sites (though you need to be a little handy with graphic design to make it less blah) and bought a URL from godaddy.com, yes the superbowl advertisers. It was $7 for a year.
We used the mywedding.com because it was free. Some of the sites tell you it is free then after a few months they take away some of the features unless you pay a fee. So make sure you read the small print! I only use the mywedding to display information to our guests. I use the knot.com for the checklist feature for the monthly tasks.

We're starting to look into the whole wedding website portion of this planning process, and i wanted to see if any of you have website suggestions that allow us to create our own URL? I've done a little snooping around and have seen other posts on websites...just wanted to see what your experience was with URLs and the sites.
