lucyco: cut out the cab and red blend and add pinot noir and tempernillo. You’ll want lighter reds for chicken.

Both your whites are solid choices. not sure if you pay attention to vintages, but there are years to avoid from certain regions, like 2011 from Napa / Sonoma. Depending on your circle, your guests probably won’t care.

lucyco:  I would ask your caterer if they recommend specific varietals but I agree with PP that you should serve a lighter red.
