6 weeks after our wedding. It was amazing, wonderful, as is my new husband!
BUT. I am having major wedding withdrawal. I keep finding myself wanting to look at all things wedding and missing it so much. Anyone relate? How long does it last?

I definitely felt it the first couple of weeks. It was weird… Kind of like a post wedding depression. It’s been almost five weeks now and I’ve gotten back onto some of the hobbies I had before wedding planning got crazy (working out, reading, tennis, scrapbooking) and I’ve been feeling a lot better! I still find myself looking at wedding stuff occasionally but it’s gotten better since I’ve made a point to stay busy!

I voted for sort of. I didn’t miss wedding planning or my wedding day, but my house flooded just after my wedding (downstairs toilet broke), so I spent the 9 weeks following my wedding playing general contractor. Playing wedding planner was much better lol.

I can totally relate. I am very sad the wedding is over. My feelings before and afer the wedding were very complex (elated, disappointed, maicked, etc) but I miss planning it so much. It was such an exciting time.

It’s been almost 11 months since our wedding and I still have withdrawl. Luckily my cousin is getting married May 2014, and I get to help her plan, now. Next step will be talking into a vow renewal on our fifth (or tenth) anniversary, lol.

We are 2 months away from our 2nd anniversary (yes you read it correctly haha), and I STILL have withdrawl. I think the worst of it passes after a few weeks, but you kinda figure out where to channel that withdrawl energy. For me? Apparently it’s staying on WB and living vicariously through everyone still planning their weddings! 😀
