Find a friend who's getting married and totally take over their wedding? hehe, just kidding... mostly.
I agree with you - I got depressed when my wedding was over with! People thought I was crazy but I loved planning my wedding and after it was over - I felt like, "now what?" LOL! My way of coping is that hubby and I are planning a trip somewhere tropical for our one year anniversary - gives us something to look forward to like we did the wedding/honeymoon!
Redecorate a room in your house! To me, it involves a lot of the same elements as wedding planning - scouring for ideas and inspiration and good deals online, comparison shopping, the creative element, etc.
Start a blog and do wedding recaps! It gives you a project and you still get to talk about your wedding
I still love watching all the wedding shows! I'm hoping my sister will get engaged soon so I can help out with her planning.
But buying a house that I can decorate and getting pregnant have also given me some other things to take my mind off weddings.
Throw yourself into the hobbies you had pre-wedding. I went back to learning photography in a more hard-croe way, and have been planning our 6 month trip through Asia/our move to the Bay Area. I'm plenty busy and so happy to be in this new phase of life!
i'm sad about the wedding being over too! U're not alone.
i have nothing to look foward to, no hairstyles to review/analyze, no jewelry to think about, etc. sad it's over! now i dont get to be a princess for a day anymore. i'm just someone's wife! =)
I am still sad and withdrawing from no more wedding stuff to do and its been almost 5 months. I am finally just not doing deep cleaning to my office and packing up wedding stuff. Also, finally got all my wedding thank you's done, but we actually are still getting gifts. Can't wait until all this snow is melted and warmer weather gets here so I can be out in my garden!
And I think I will pass on the babies!
@xxjessmicaxx: ive been feeling it lately too - we are getting invited to 5 weddings this year and its just making me think about weddings. I am just starting on making our album and getting some prints made so hopefully that will quell whatever this is. We also moved into a new house so that kept me occupied. I agree with PPs that you should try to find a hobby, take a class, decorate your home, do some craft projects, create your wedding album or start a blog and do recaps!
Thanks for all the tips bees. We actually bought a house together several years back, so I'm trying to redecorate! :)

So, I never have really felt wedding withdrawl until now :( With all the new bridal shows coming out in spring, and with the honeymoon recently past us, I feel so sad. :( I never thought this would happen. I can't believe it's all over. Coping tips anyone?
