Colors

First lets start of with my colors fushia pink and lime green. I love these colors they are bright and make me happy. but my family hates them I get remarks like who would want to do there wedding in that its to wild. Where are you gettting these ideas from. No one seems to know how to decorate with these colors or even fathem how they will look.  Ok i have seen tons of weddings done in pink and green and they look beautiful.

Brides maids.

I have 5 bridesmaids including my sister.  I did have two maid of honors but already had to demote one. Then i went dress shoppping informed everyone of of where we where going when so they could take off work.  One bridesmaid told me idk about going dress shopping because i am a size 16 and plan to be an eight by the wedding and don't want my dress taken in.  I understand she has lost tons of wieght already and i love her to death but gosh what do you do.  So i got her a 10 Then the other bridesmaid who had been demoted already said she was comming then bailed at the last minute this is a continuing thing with her so i am keeping her dress at my house in case I need to demote her agian. Am I being mean about this?

Ceremony music

For allot of girls it has been there dream to walk down the isle to hear comes the bride.  Well not me I am very musically inclined and tend to think that song is over done and tacky. I truely believe you should walk down the ise to something that is sentamental to you and the groom or something that reminds you of the beauty of love that you to share. Not my family in fact they hate it. They have said your wedding is going to be so screwed up people ar going to surely know that you have lost your mind by the time its over. My maternal grandma said quote im going to be so sick of your wedding by the time it gets her it is going to be so (F***ed up).   In case you are curious my maids are walking to music of the night and i am walking down from all i ask of you from phantom of the opera.

Flowers

I went to the craft store and got the flowers in mind i wanted my fi aunt said she would do them.  So i asked her to go with me and pck things out waited and waited no reply finally at the end of june she said she idn't have time. which stressed me out because by june all the pink and green flowers have been picked through because june is wedding season and get this pink and gree are acutally qutie popular wedding colors "duh".  So my maid of honor took me and we got the job done thank god.

Recption.

My fi family is doing the recption. So i thought they would ask us what we want and do it well sorta.  I mention how I want a dj sense me and my fi love music. They said well we have planned on hiring a live band. I know who the band is and I like them allot but for my wediding i want a combination of all music just not oldies. Thats what the band does and I absolutly hate elvis and don't want him being played at our wedding. I love his family and don't want to be bridezilla so i think i will let it slide because they are sweet people and i don't want to offend them.

So my wedding is next june and I am sick of people telling me im planning way to soon.  It takes a year to plan a stress free wedding I don't want to do anything last minute plus me and my fi our full time college students we will not have time. I can honetsly say i know why there are BRIDZILLAS.

Am I really crazy are all weddings this way help please.
