I know I saw someone asked this a couple weeks ago, but I can't seem to find that post. Is anyone else having a problem with the weddingbee home page appearing all white/blank? About 75% of the time when I return to the home page after reading something from another section of the site (Boards, Classifieds...) the home page is just completely white. Sometimes when I refresh it a few times, the home page appears again...but it usually takes a while.
Was there a solution to this problem before...or am I alone on this? It seems to be happening on both my home and work computers (not that i would *ever* be on the bee at work)...so I'm thinking this is happening to someone else to?
I remember the post as well but was unable to find it! I've had this happen A LOT in the past couple weeks. Yesterday it was particularly bad. I'm wondering if perhaps we're hitting the bandwidth limit?
If it helps I'm using IE 8.
P.S. Just wanted to also mention that yesterday it was not only on the blogger home page. Sometimes it would also happen on other blogger pages. Yet to have happened on the "Board" portion of the site.
Yes, that is me. I get the white home page way too often and it is annoying. Refreshing the page doesn't even help so I have to exit the browser entirely.
I also am using IE 8.
I've only had this happen once and I was on a PC instead of my usual Mac...
This happens to me all the time, on work and home computers using IE. Especially on the home page and when I try to use the tag cloud. :( Over the weekend was particularly bad. It drives me nuts. I end up refreshing a million times and then trying to find alternate ways to get to pages.
I use Firefox and I haven't had that specific problem. Yesterday, though, both the main page and the boards took forever to load most of the day.

Same. And I've been having problems when I click on the post. The page opens up and the title is shifted down into the body of the post--anyone else?

That happens to me everyday. Usually when I'm going from one post to the next. It's very annoying but I always thought it was my computer.
I have that too. I have IE8 at work and IE7 at home and it happens on both.
Our pageviews have gone way up, and our server is having a hard time keeping up! We're optimizing the code to handle the new load - the site speed and "white page" problems should be reduced by later this week.

Thanks Mr. Bee. I'm not getting the white page, but a page cannot be displayed. When I get that page I just give it a few minutes and refresh and everything's fine.
Thanks for the updates! I keep getting a page when I comment that is green and says "oops! You actually need to submit some content!" even though I did...its frustirating, bc when I go back to the page I was on its deleted EVERYTHING i wrote.
I was wondering about this...happens when I am at work and I thought it was this bogus clunker of a CPU. But maybe when I am at home (evening hours) there is less traffic? Love that its getting so much attention that its shutting down! GO WEDDINGBEE! Love this site. Ok back to work :)

The actual "box" in the middle of the page is all white. The surrounding is like a really really light neutral color. The top is green and I can see the bride in a dress.
I had problems trying to load the page today, but for about 10 minutes only.
The hive is getting bigger and bigger :) how cool
I think there's just too many of us now. It rarely does this to me, and it seems to be okay today.
This happens to me sometimes when I access Weddingbee with my Blackberry, but I usually don't encounter this on my laptop.
I use firefox and I haven't encountered the problem to my knowledge, but I haven't been on the bee for a couple of days either, so maybe I missed the problems!
thank heaven... just finally saw this post and thought it was my computer! it sometimes happens where I can't get back on wedding bee for like 20 minutes! glad to know it's not me and that you guys are workin on it :)
I'm so glad I am not the only one! At least once a day it shows up for me as a white page! I'm glad you guys are on it!
I'm having the same issue Lovesthe bear had. It makes the full blog posts heard to read. I use IE.

THis sorry bee still has IE 6 at work cough and at home. Is that the problem. I can try another browser at home but not at work.
I'm getting a blank homepage when i use the back button in IE 8, just now.
I'm with kayakgirl73. I haven't really had any problems at home but on my, er, other computer... I've had it happen a few times. (IE6)
Mine still seems to be doing it once or twice a day. I got it just now. Sad day. = (
I use Google Chrome, and haven't seen the white homepage issue. The only thing that I get is when I leave a comment to a post, I can't hit the back button to go to the home page.
I just had the white page thing happen for the first time-I was wondering what you all were talking about.
