yay, your wedding is so soon! i'll just throw something out there, although i'm sure you're good to go. emergency kit?
Have you spoken with all your vendors to double check arrival times, etc?
I am going to see if mom will put together an emergency kit for me. As for checking with the vendors, I was talking to the hotel/caterer and ceremony space today, I spoke with both the DJ and Photographer last week and I am going to check in with my flower person on Wednesday.....Mom is taking care of the cake....
Great ideas, thanks....keep em coming!!
how about any remaining payments for the vendors and designating who should hand them out?
do your music vendors have all the right music?
heehee, this is kind of fun.
Make sure you put an emergency kit together. Thread, needles, that double sided tape stuff models use to keep/put things in place if there is a little gap, breath mints, kleenex, etc.
get everything together in a box that needs to be transported different places :
programs for ceremony site
placecards for reception site
alcohol (champagne?) for limo
etc.
I wrote all the cheques for the vendors and put them in envelopes last weekend and the best man will hand them out the day of.
I don't have placecards but I am currently working on the seating plan (more difficult than I thought).
I have the programs all boxed up and all other boxes labelled with contained contents.
Did you create a folder with all of your vendors? Or did you communicate with a lot of them through email? Maybe you could go through all of your emails & paperwork to make sure you've paid all of them & confirmed the time and date, etc.
You have all of your favors done?
Have enough chairs for everyone?
Make sure the photographer's there on time?
All of your music is ready to go for the reception?
Just trying to think of anything! I'm positive I'll feel the same way as you do 6 days before my wedding too! Good luck! I hope you didn't forget anything!
This might seem like a minor detail - but everyone keeps telling me: Break in your shoes! Wear em around the house, do laundry (don't cook or anything), scuff up the soles so you don't slip - but make sure they're comfy - last thing you want is pinched toes and blisters on your heels that stop the dancing. And Congrats!! Can't wait to see pics. ;)
Do you have someone to put in charge of gifts and the card box?
Did you make a schedule for your wedding party and vendors? Just a simple one with start and end times.
Your playlist for the DJ/Band? Are you packed for your wedding night, if you are staying somewhere?
Drink water! And I think an emergency kit is a great idea! Hit up the sample size stuff and $1 store.
GOOD LUCK!
Do you laundry so you can pack for your honeymoon.
Thank you cards/tips for vendors
Is your dress clean, pressed and ready to go?
Does everyone have a day of timeline?
