Going to my parents' house on Saturday with my FI. His parents are coming over and we are going to open the engagement gifts we got at the party last weekend. Yay presents!
Going to Vegas on Sunday!!!!! Maybe I'll come back with a ring.... probably not though. Oh well maybe I can get him really drunk and go to a drive through chapel heheheh I'm evil. I would never do that though lol.
Heading to Six Flags Fright Night with my FI and 7yo. It's supposed to rain...luckily we got a hotel with hot tub and indoor pool.
got a weekend full of homework and hopefully meeting up with a couple of friends. if not, then there will be plenty of football and playoff baseball to keep me occupied between homework assignments!
FMIL is here and we are meeting my parents in Tucson for my Grandmother's 96th birthday! She thinks its just family coming, but we've invited her friends and neighbors, too.
I'm volunteering and going to a college football game tomorrow! Tonight I'm having wine with the ladies!
M's bday is sunday so I spent today in covert errands. Lol I have his cake (cigar cake, will take a pic and post), i bought him a graphic tee and a new pair of jeans and the kids got him a new yankee's hat and an lsu hat. i may get him a bottle of champagne, but we'll see if that's in the budget for him.
El Captaz- I can't believe your wedding is finally here. Hopefully you will share pictures with us!
This is my first 2 days off in a row in a while. We're thinking about going to the Aquarium tomorrow, then we're going to a fondue party/pumpkin carving party tomorrow night.
And I'm going to celebrate my weekend of no work by working (!) on my paper and doing life care maintenance on Sunday.
I'm living the good life, I tell ya!
drinking wine and CLEANING. yuck (to the cleaning part). I want to go dancing tonight, but the friends are being lame! oh well!
Hosting a costume party for our family and friends since most of them haven't seen the house since we bought it... last July!!! LOL
Nothing too exciting planned here. I stayed in last night, and I went to see "Where the Wild Things Are" today with my daughter. We also have plans to work on her book report, and I have lots of correcting to do. (I'm a teacher.)
Making jambalaya and bread pudding today. Probably should work on some homework later, but not sure if I really want to. So exciting I know!
Nothing too exciting - went out for $2.50 margaritas at Cheddars yesterday (a friend works there so we got ours made with Patron and all sorts of other fun stuff...yummm) then we had steaks and played games. Today we went to the dog park with out puppy and will probably go to the movies tonight. Planning on doing NOTHING tomorrow! :-)
watching michigan football & carbo-loading the guy this afternoon/tonight and then up bright and early in the morning for the Marine Corps Marathon in DC!!! The guy's first marathon! I am so proud & can't wait to cheer him on!!!!
volunteer work today, homework I won't do... lol, religious services tomorrow afternoon... oh and I will be attempting the first recycled chandelier tonight and tomorrow... stay tune for pics and a diy on the blog ladies! :)

My weekend plans are nothing worth wild, I will be doing some volunteer work and doing some research for school. I would love to come back Monday with a post saying: I'M ENGAGED! But that's unlikely!
