Oh no!! I'm sorry to hear that!
I'm not new, but I'll play :-)
My favorite article of clothing is probably a t-shirt I got from Pac-Sun. It's the thinnest most comfortable t-shirt I've ever worn, and I have one in like 7 different colors. I hope they don't get rid of them anytime soon 'cause I have a feeling I'm about to wear holes in all of mine!!!
I was new last week, but this is still a fun post! My man is in the Navy and has a bunch of those big baggy (well, baggy on me) Navy sweats they use for PT. I stole a pair and I wear them pretty much everyday! They're sooo comfy and warm and they remind me of my man when he's gone :)
I'm new! My name is Sarah Renee, and I just happened to stumble on to this site by accident, and I love it! I was engaged on 12/21 of last year, but since my fiance and I are still in college, we've decided to wait until we both get our BA until we get married (plus, my mom won't pay for it unless I have a degree! Haha). I'm extremely excited, though, but who wouldn't be?! I can't wait to start planning everything!
Oh, and my favorite articles of clothing are my Victoria's Secret yoga pants. Incredibly comfy, I wear them EVERYWHERE. Class, Bible study, bed. I'm a little sad though, because there's a nice tear in the seam on one, and I have no idea how to sew :/
My name is Katie and I was engaged May 2009. FH and I are getting married 11/6/10 in Clearwater and can't wait!
My favorite article of clothing would have to be my angel jeans. Found them on a clearance rack at Kohl's and when I put them on it was love at first sight. They fit perfectly and go with anything and everything. i can wear them with tennis shoes and a sweatshirt and they look good or I can wear them with boots and a cute top and go out on the town.
Hello! My name is Kate and I am planning a wedding in Minneapolis on October 16th 2010. I have been reading Weddingbee for months but I finally began my blog two weeks ago! I'm absolutely loving the community here- everyone is so lovely, supportive and helpful.

(a pic of my fiance and i)
My favorite article of clothing changes monthly but right now it has to be my big fluffy scarf from urban outfitters. It keep me warm and cozy during these wicked Minnesota winter months!
Just wanted to stop by and say hello to all the new bees. Welcome to the bee. I'm sure you'll love it here.
I'm Monicka been here for 8 months now and I love it. As you can see^^ I'm getting married on June 19th, 2010 in Wisconsin.
My favorite article of clothing would have to be a cute little black dress that the man bought be when we first started dating. It's so versatile. I can wear it with flip flops for a flirty summer look or dress it up with some great jewelry and heels for an evening out. It rocks!
My fav. is a dress I got from a boutique a few months ago that I wear with some awesome boots! I feel so good when I wear it! :)
& I'm so sorry that happened to Grey-ee!
Hi, I'm Katie- I've been reading for a while, but finally had to sign up for a username in order to vote for the book club. LOL
We are in the ring-shopping/looking stage, thinking about a wedding next summer or fall. I'm going back to school to be a nurse, so that takes up most of my time but I definitely enjoy reading weddingbee when I get a break- it's a happy place.
Hmm.. favorite clothing item.. this is actually pretty morbid, but I have a great funeral dress. I love it, but I only get to wear it on sad occasions which thankfully are few and farbetween, but it always fits, it's always flattering, and it's cute but still conservative. Maybe I should go out and go shopping for a new favorite item.
Hey Everyone! I'm Jenn and live in the Philadelphia suburbs. I've been reading for WB for awhile (few weeks) because I desperately needed answers/info to some wedding related questions/problems I was having (mainly with the invitations). Just started posting last week...I enjoy reading everybody's advice and wedding plans..it's fun to read!
I actually got married in November (in India) and our second wedding is here in PA on 4/17/10. So it's been nuts trying to do two weddings, but it's totally worth it!! Here's two pics from our Indian wedding. First is the ceremony, second is reception attire...

Forgot to say my favorite article of clothing is my college sweatshirt (hoodie) that I love to wear when it's super cold out! :)
I was new a week ago but totally missed this then.. lol.
My name is Michelle and my FH and I got engaged on the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend (Oct 10th) which was also our 1 year 'dating anniversary'. He hid the ring in a box of chocolates (had the ring going around one of them) and when i opened them.. i was just SO dense i was like..huh? I dumbly asked if he wanted one..and offered the box to him and he took that one chocolate out with a 'this one is my favourite'.. never felt so dumb and blonde in my life!
About me.. i'm 31 and am a geek .. i work in IT and am an avid gamer (my current fav is WoW). My FH is also 31, works in a IT based department and is a console gamer, so it works out well for us.
My favourite article of clothing is my fleece pjs. Nothing i like more after getting out of a hot bath or shower than snuggling into some soft fleece pjs. Sadly, my current fleece jammies were purchased for a hallowe'en costume for work (I dressed up as a 6yo .. pigtails and all and gave temper tantrums whenever they tried to make me do any work that day) so they have winnie the pooh splashed all over them and are pink (gag)..but hey, they're comfy!
I've been lurking for a while, but I suppose this is as good a time as any to introduce myself and finally post something.
I'm Chelsey, 24 from Michigan. FI and I are both recent college grads and thought now is the right time for us to tie the knot. We've been engaged a little over a month, but are planning an October 23rd, 2010 wedding in Grand Rapids, MI so we have a lot of work to do. So far we have the ceremony and reception site booked, and that's it.
My favorite article of clothing is a Detroit Red Wings shirt that my dad had when I was a kid (It has the 1997 team on the front) It's incredibly unattractive, and I'm glad my dad doesn't wear it anymore, but it's been washed so many times that it is super comfy. It's too big and too long and as soon as it's clean I put it back on to sleep in.
Hi everyone! I'm just started looking through WB this week and I'm trying to get familiar with it.
I just got engaged on the 10th of January this year, and the wedding will be coming up very soon in August, so planning has been a craaaaazy to say the least. Hopefully, 6 months is enough time to figure out all the details for a perfect wedding! But, I think I am on a good start, I have a venue, dress, photographer, and now we are narrowing down our caterers.
As for favorite piece of clothing... That would have to be my emerald scarf. I got it as a christmas present while I was overseas, and I practically travelled everywhere throughout Europe and Egypt with it. I love it because it has so many sweet memories attached to it.
Such fun intros this week! Jenn, your Indian wedding looks amazing. I'm loving hearing about all the sentimental attachments to clothing, and glad to know I'm not the only one!
Thanks for the welcome! My name’s Amy. I’ve been reading the board here and there for a couple of months and finally figured it wouldn’t hurt to be able to ask my own questions or answer those of others.
I got engaged on August 13, 2009, at Bodega Bay (The Birds!) in California while on a wine-filled vacation with a couple who would become our MOH and BM. I really wanted a spring wedding, so March 13th became the big day. I’m in the final stages of planning and very eager to wrap everything up. We’re actually doing a common law marriage (still legal in Texas, thank goodness!) and will be legally married this month!
I’m working on my master’s degree in psychology. He’s working in IT as a systems engineer.
My favorite article of clothing is a tie between a dark blue Campaign for Liberty hoodie that is very thick and cozy and an orange, patterned shirt that is just plain comfortable and very “me.”
Hi everyone! I'm Jen.... I've been lurking for a couple of weeks and decided to make my own account. I'm in the process of planning my November wedding in Ann Arbor, MI. So far we have the reception venue and ceremony site booked... everything else is still in the works.
My FI and I are juggling grad school, full time jobs, indoor soccer, and our two year old black lab (Hannah-pup). We like to laugh and he is very involved (and patient!) with the wedding planning :)
My favorite article of clothing is probably a striped scarf. I wear it as much as I can get away with... it's actually in my user pic.. haha
Anyways, thanks for the welcome!

Hi, all! I've been creeping around Weddingbee as a bridesmaid, but now I'm engaged & I can't wait to join in on the fun!
Our wedding is June 11, 2011 and we just found our venue -- today! We're sticking to a tight budget, so we're all over the DIY scene.
My favorite article of clothing is a plain green V-neck tee that I originally bought for my beau as part of his birthday gift. The best part? He never wore it, and I wear it once a week...at least.
Hello! I have been reading the blog for a couple of weeks and think its really great.
I live in western NY with my FI, our two ugly dogs, a lhasa apso and an english bulldog. We've been engaged for 7 months and are getting married in a little over 3 months in Florida. We're planning a low key wedding on the beach with our friends and family, followed up with a honeymoon at our favorite place, Disney World!
I love reading the blog and getting all kinds of new ideas! You guys are great!
My favorite article of clothing in the winter is a big warm sweater with a belt. I wear it all the time with everything!
Hi all!
I've been reading the weddingbee blogs (subscribed in Reader) since I got engaged but have also keep running into the forums whenever I'm searching for a DIY idea or information.
FH and I are getting married on October 10, 2010 (42 woo!) and are doing it on a limited budget. Joy!
My favorite article of clothing is (are) my skinny jeans. These are the jeans I wear when I'm skinny, nor are these the trendy skinny jeans. No, these are the jeans that make my legs look awesome. I buy a new pair of the exact same cut and color every few months. Love em.
I've been lurking for a while, but now seems as good a time as any to come out of the woodwork!
I've been with my boyfriend for a little bit under a year, and I'm you know...sure that I want to marry him, but hey, I don't want to rush things, so we'll see what happens. Until we're engaged, I'll keep creeping on other people's weddings!
Anyway, I'm a twenty-four-year-old law student in Boston, and my favorite article of clothing is DEFINITELY my J.Crew riding boots. I wear them almost daily.
Hi all, I'm Jessica - I was married September 26, 2009 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the love of my life in our dream wedding. I used this site a ton when I was planning my wedding, but still love it for non-wedding things and to help my friends plan their weddings! My DH and I have a 5-month old Boston Terrier, our spoiled baby!
My favorite item of clothing is my black pair of Sanuk flip-flops - I got them in Key West on a vacation a few years ago and they still feel like I'm walking on clouds every time I wear them. Unfortunately, I live in Michigan so I only get to wear them half the year!
Hello! I've been lurking off and on since getting engaged in December, and am planning a wedding in August of 2010... right around the corner! Although we are having a short engagement, we've been together for a long time and bought a house together last summer.
We're planning a ranch-style wedding up here in eastern WA that will span 3 days of fun events. We're really wanting to emphasize DIY/ homemade elements, utilizing talents in our community.
My favorite item of clothing is also a grey sweatshirt, zip up hoodie, with a bicycle screen printed across the front. I call it my "uniform." I'm very sorry to hear about Grey-ee... I dread the day when the same thing happens to my hoodie. I hope you can find a great way to either repair or repurpose her.
Welcome to all of the new ladies to the Hive!
Since I'm the newest "Bee" this week, I wanted to join in on the fun.
My favorite article of clothing is yellow sweater from the Gap. It is the softest sweater I own and it's a fun cheery yellow, so in the Winter I have a bit of sun!
Hello!
I'm Marj and I just started posting on these boards this week even though I've been a member for sometime now. I'm Marj and my FI and I are planning our wedding for May 2011 in Orlando, FL. He is in the Navy and is currently deployed right now in the Middle East so our planning is going slow at the moment. He returns this summer and we'll really start putting this thing together! For now, I'm trying to absorb every little thing I can to get prepared! I hope I can share my ideas as well as gain news ones!
* * * Bonus Play * * *
My favorite article of clothing is my soft and fluffy Hello Kitty robe! It's so comfy and keeps me warm - I'm ALWAYS cold! I would wear it everywhere if I could get away with it! hahaa
♥marj

Hey everybody! I'm Naomi. I've been meaning to check out this site, and I'm so glad I did... it's exactly what I was looking for! My guy and I are planning a January 15, 2011 wedding, if possible. We're still checking out venues, so hopefully that date will stick.
Mr. Brunch and I are high school sweethearts and after many years of dating long-distance and then relocating for him, it just seems like the perfect time. Plus, not being sick of him after 8 years is probably a good sign :)
My favorite piece of clothing is probably my knee high suede brown boots. I wear them with just about every skirt. I'm veryyyyy much a skirt and boots, kind of gal.
I'm usually a blog lurker for a very long time, but I just got the feeling that there was no point in JUST lurking at this site!
Hello everyone! I'm Zanny, 21 & from the UK. I'm engaged to Jonny (he proposed in August '09) & we're getting married on 24th April. We've just about sorted everything out, just a few last minute things to get now!
My favourite piece of clothing is a blue dress that is very flattering & very comfortable! I love wearing dresses :)
Hi all! I'm Cera and I'm just starting to get down into the nitty gritty of planning even though we've been engaged for more than a year. Naomi, you and I have the same date! Haha!
My favorite piece of clothing has to be a pair of rather baggy shorts that I "borrowed" from my fiance. They're great to just throw on and run to the store. I used to have a different pair, but one of the seams ripped on it and it was unfixable...
Toffee-- yay for Jan. 15! Mine is a big tentative, with the hopes of working out. Good luck with your planning :)
Hey everyone! My name is Andreea. The FI and I are getting married June 5th of this year. I'm pretty far into the planning. I still have a mountain of things to do and I joined this site because it's fun and I've gotten so many great ideas so far!
My favorite piece of clothing is my black zip up sweatshirt. I freaking live in that thing and I even wore it for our engagement pictures because it's the most "me" thing I own!
Hello fellow miss bees!
My name is Anu and I'm getting married Jan 8th, 2011 in Houston, TX. The date is pretty much set but still in the processes of finding a venue-it's a bit challenging since we're having a semi-large wedding of around 500 guests. But I think we're making progress on this *crosses fingers*, looking into signing a contract today actually!
Anyway my fiance and I have been together for little less than a year but have known each other since we were both little kids and have been good friends for longer. Although we're in the beginning stages of wedding planning I'm still waiting on the ring and the official proposal...he's working on it ;)
Just stumbled into these boards and I'm so glad I did, think it'll be a great resource to me this year.
And my favorite piece of clothing...hmmm this is a tough one, but I think it would be my blue American Eagle fleece hoodie which I got in a 2 for $45 deal at AE. SOOOO comfortable and I wear it over my scrubs to work and everywhere else!
Hello everyone, my name is Alison...I'm a new bee! I'm currently still in the stage of "waiting". I know the engagement is coming, a little bird (aka my mom) let the cat out of the bag. I don't know details as to when, etc (thank goodness because I always wanted it to be a surprise)...I just know it's gonna happen very soon.
I'm over the moon excited! haha
I stumbled upon this site and love it! Can't wait to share everything as things happen.

So, it's another week and I'm sure we have another batch of new-bees! We want to know who you are, what brings you here, and what stage of wedding planning, waiting or life planning you are at :)
Please use this thread to introduce yourself and to let the hive get to know you a little better!
Bonus question so that everyone can play:
Tell us about your favorite article of clothing and why it is your favorite?
For me, I have a grey hoodie (appropriately named Grey-ee) that I've worn for the last 6 or so years. It's so warm and soft and snuggly and it goes with almost everything I own. I could even get away with it for work. But I washed it a couple of weeks ago and lost the entire seam up the underside of the arm. Yeah, it has a gaping gash the length of the entire arm. Attempts at repair are probably futile, but I love Grey-ee so much that not only did I pout when it died, but I refuse to throw it out!
