How are you girls getting fit for the big day?
I just wanna loose 10 pounds, and while I think I can do it….my wedding is in March, aka, I have to go through the holidays. And…..I’ll be baking my own desserts for the wedding so I’m going to be tasting a lot of sweets 🙂
I’ve looked at doing weight watchers, knowing that joining a gym isnt in our budget right now, and with my crazy schedule, I can’t count on going to classes etc.
So what are you girls doing?

Weight watchers seems to work for me!! I also go to the gym at least 3xs a week, but before I got a membership I would do the Insanity videos or P90X…killer workouts!
You should be able to lose 10lbs by March without much of an issue. The holidays are hard though!! WW will help with that.

I also recommend P90X! I did 60 days of it (it is an INTENSE workout, and 90 days is a lot when you are working out 6 days a week) and lost 9 lbs. I’ve been able to keep it off too with just 1 – 2 visits to the gym a week. The results are amazing and you could do it twice between now and your wedding and you’d be in the best shape of your life 🙂

I recorded every single thing I ate to ensure dining accountability, and allow me to adjust my caloric intake as needed. And I took up running and weight lifting (moderate weight, high reps). All told, I lost about 15 pounds.

I am not working out until 5 months b4 the wedding bc I am recovery for surgery. So I do a lot of sitting and not much moving. I just eat very clean, no processed foods. I recently became a vegartarian (but eat fish) 5 months ago and lost 10 lbs so far. But I know not everyone can do that. I also dont drink a lot of juice or soda. Only water. I have lost 11 lbs so far. I plan to lose 7 more. It also helps that I cannot walk to the fridge very easily. If I need food I have to wait for my FI to get it for me. If he is out of the house i have to wait for him to get home.

I want to loose 1 or 2 more pounds. After that, I just want to maintain my weight and make sure that ‘everything’ is where it should be. i.e any stomach fat I have doesn’t decide to move to my bum or something.. 🙂
