My ultimate goal weight is 50 kgs (110 pounds – I’m 5’3) which is what I weighed five years ago, however I was 17, so I’m not sure if it would be possible to be that skinny at 22, especially as my boobs have jumped three cup sizes since then!
My goal range is 54 kgs (119 pounds) to 58 kgs (128 pounds) depending on how I look and feel. I’m happier to weigh more as long as I’m comfortable with my appearance.
My weight loss has been pretty slow, which I’m happy with. I struggled with anorexia during high school so I’ve been losing weight by changing my whole lifestyle – I exercise 6 times a week, but skip it if I’m feeling tired or unwell; I started eating smaller portions, more often; I only drink water (except for the occasional glass of wine or coffee when I’m on holiday); and my new introduction is trying not to eat fast/junk food.
I’m hoping to be at, or within 5 kgs (17 pounds) of my highest goal weight (so 58kgs/128 pounds) this time next year, which I think is easily obtainable.
So Bees, what’s your goal weight?

@Mischka: My goal weight is 145 pounds, I weighed that about 4 years ago and it was perfect on me. To get there I would have to lose about 30 pounds. I currently weigh 175 (which is 3 pounds less than I was two weeks ago, YAY!). I am 5’7 and half, so 175 is too much weight for me to be carrying around. I workout 5-6 times a week and make sure to burn at least 600 calories everytime I workout (I got a polar heart rate monitor). I eat 5 small meals a day and I dont drink calories, just green tea, vitamin water or regular water. No fast food and minimal bread. I eat about 1500 calories a day and I meal prep every Tuesday for the week. Its a lotttt of cooking at once, but it works for me. I just started this about 3 weeks ago, and I am down three pounds. So it must be working well!

@FutureMrsJefferson: Congrats on your weight loss! I aim to burn 500-600 calories each workout and I’m down 7 pounds since the middle of January.
I meal prep too. I find it makes keeping to my meal plan and maintaining my smaller portion size so much easier.

I could really do with some motivation. We are Approaching the 1 year mark (until the wedding) and I need to loose 30-35 kg! the most I have ever lost is 15kg and it only stayed off about 9 months. I am attending weight watchers and am lacking motivation at the moment. I should be all over it but can’t get in the right state of mind. it’s odd but I find it easier to loose weight when I’m unhappy. When I’m happy I love to eat!

My ultimate goal is to lose 10-15 more lbs. I’m currently 155 lbs and I’m 5’8. In the last few years I’ve lost around 75 lbs, so I’m near the end of my journey. I’ve been at this weight all winter, but I’m not trying to lose more weight at the moment because I have my wedding dress and it fits perfectly right now! I am doing the alterations with the help of my Grandma, and really don’t want to have to take it in! I’m still working out to maintain the muscle I have, and trying to eat enough calories to just maintain at this weight until June. Then I will cut my calories back and start working out at a higher intensity. It’s harder than I thought it would be because I’ve been in weight loss mode for over two years and have been slowly and steadily losing weight the whole time. I’ve been doing pretty well though, only varying by a couple pounds either way. It’s been good practice for when I do finally get to my goal weight.
This is the smallest I’ve been in my whole adult life. In high school I was 170 lbs at my lightest. I never thought I’d get here, and it took a long time because I lost the weight so slowly, but it added up. What I learned through this journey so far is that every little bit counts, and you should never give up just because you aren’t losing enough weight. As long as the scale goes down, even if it’s only .5 lbs it’s still a success. I don’t have a strict diet plan, but I have a calorie amount I try to stay under (1800 right now for maintenance), and I make sure I excercise every day. My workouts are varried, I like to do yoga, spinning, running, weight lifting, swimming, basically whatever I feel like doing. If I force myself to stick with one routine I end up getting bored, so I made sure I got a membership to a gym with many options.

- Wedding: April 2013 - A court...
I have cut out coke completely & trying to wat healthier. I know I’ll be way more motivated when I get a gym membership + scale. I am 54″-5’5″ & I’d really like to just be my old size & weight (even though back then I didn’t appreciate it) at 130 size 3. Though dream perfect weight would be 120 ish. It can be done 😀 I hope!

I guess I am looking to lose anywhere from 25-20 pounds. I have a fitbit and am a little over for my 5’6 weight (I weigh 146 – so even if I got to about 130 I would actually be at a very healthy weight). I eat the Engine 2 diet, and exercise almost daily. The one thing I noticed just by logging is that sometimes I eat too few calories! I had no idea since I am a pretty constant little eater. So I am going to track along, and may add in an extra healthy snack if I am under by enough to disrupt my weight loss. So far I lost 4 pounds 🙂

I’m not sure how much I want to lose in terms of weight. My body fat percentage is too high (c.27% according to my scales) but I want to stay between 57kg and 62.9kg.
I want to be smaller and tighter, but not lighter, so I’m going to focus on building muscle for the next three months (and put up with the fat that comes with it) and then shred for the summer.

I am so frustrated! I’m stuck on a year long plateau at 118 lbs. I’m 5’4″ & want to be 115 lbs. I eat just under 1200 calories a day & walk 5 mi per day, usually 7 days per week. One day a week, I might do only 2.5 mi.
I guzzle water all day, eat super high fiber. Yet, I remain stuck. I don’t drink anything other than water or green tea & eat low sodium, low fat, low cal.
Not that it’s a terrible size for me, just frustrating. I’m about to give it up & just accept that my body wants to be 118 lbs. (i used to be 200 lbs+ so I guess I should be satisfied).

- Wedding: May 2013 - Pavilion overlooking golf course scenery, reception at banquet hall
I would like to get back to the weight I was when I met my husband (20lbs ago) but I would also be satisfied losing 10 (my weight for most of our relationship). I kinda let it go after the wedding and am having trouble getting motivated :-/

I have lost 15 lbs so far. I would be really happy if i lost 20 more.

@sassy411: 3lb really isn’t going to make a huge difference. Make peace with it and start eating more! 1200 is pretty much an absolute minimum safe intake for women.

I think you’re probably right. I also do weights every other day, so I think I’m doing all I can.
I really want a cheat day now & then to indulge in my favorite things. Just a day, that’s all I ask. Dh misses going out to eat.
I really do just need to make peace with my weight & focus on maintenance.
