Losing weight is hard. Working out is hard. Im sure our SOs get tired of hearing “I lost another pound!” So lets not get discouraged by this and lets tell eachother! 🙂 Everyone! I also have gotten the “youre losing too much weight” “You dont need to lose anymore weight” comments before. Boy are those annoying and counter productive. Cause then you think, oh im good then, I guess i could ease up off the gym, off my diet a bit more. And then boom, back to gaining weight. Well, that is what I did.
So here is to congratulating everyone on their weight loss, or weight gain for those of you looking to gain weight!! We all need a little motivation and congrats from time to time.

I will go first!
I gained 30 lbs then lost 29, then gained 10, then gained another 13. Time to lose it all again. No excuses.

I’m only 5-1 but always weighed more than I looked due to muscle. However the past few that muscle turned to fat and I got uncomfortable with how I looked.
So we joined a gym and have been going for four weeks now. After four weeks, I’m down almost 5 pounds (about 147 to 142). My stomach, legs and butt also feel a lot firmer.
I don’t have a goal weight. Personally, I don’t care what number the scale says, I just care how I look and how I feel about how I look. So my goal is to fit into my old jeans from two sizes ago 🙂

@jesssamesssa: I hate when people tell me “I don’t need to lose any more weight”! I am 5’4” and currently at 125-126. I felt and looked my best at 120, so that is my goal weight for my september wedding. My doctor has told me that 120 is a perfect weight for me, so I dont listen to anyone else!
My heaviest was 133-135, which was in september 2013. I moved in with Fiance around that time and gained a little love weight 🙂
I am proud of losing the 8-9 pounds and am excited to continue on to my goal weight! i actually look forward to working out now, and feel amazing from the healthy eating!!
shameless brag 😉

@SuperKate: That is a good goal. That used to be my goal cause I had no idea what my goal weight should have been. I just wanted to look good again. Then I found out and now that is my goal.
@Bridebee13: Congrats!!!! Stupid Love weight!

I’ve lost 27 pounds since the beginning of November doing Weight Watchers. I love it!

Good idea! I started at 210, and as of yesterday I am officially down 20lbs! My goal weight for the wedding in August is 160, so I’m 10lbs shy of the half-way mark and my next goal, which I’m very excited about.

I am “skinny fat”. Even though I was only 113 pounds, I have a host of invisible health problems and doctor told me that I should try to lose a few extra pounds to combat the severity of my health problems. Ugh, losing weight is so hard. I have lost about 4 pounds in the last 6 months mainly by overhauling my diet.

@Bridebee13: Good for you! And that’s awesome that you are striving for the weight that you feel best at rather than what other people are dictating for you!

@esk716: Thats awesome! I hope I can do that too!
@AmandaCareBear: It is really hard. I hate it. Darling Husband gets to eat whatever and still be a stick. A buff stick!
@MrsRevolutionize: Woohoo!!!! Congrats!!!! 😀

@jesssamesssa: This is fun!
I want to start looking for a wedding dress this summer so that is my biggest motivator right now… in addition to the fact that I live in a beach down and want to look better this summer 🙂

I used the South Beach Diet, working out at the gym and the Insanity Program to lose weight for my wedding. I started May 2013 at 155lbs and weighed 122 on my wedding day on November 9th 2013.
I gained about 5lbs over the holidays and just finished the first week of South Beach phase 1. I plan to finish out phase 1 and then kick back into working out and introducing complex carbs back into my diet. I know I didn’t get too far off the path but I sure started to feel crummy from not working out and eating a lot of higher fat/sugary foods!
My goal is just to stay in the 120-125 range.
