I’m hoping to lose 10 lbs by July for the wedding I’m a bridesmaid in and an additional 10lbs for my own wedding in November. I went back to following Weight Watchers yesterday and forced myself to water aerobics last night (it was so cold here last night). Its a challenge but I’ve done it before!

I’m 5’4″ and was around 215lbs at my highest. I went down to just under 165lbs a few years ago and have gained about 10lbs since then.

I’m an August bride too 🙂

I have lost aprox 60 lbs in the last year (started when we got engaged April 2013) by not eating sugar or bad carbs. Of course I still hit the gym but truthfully what you eat makes a HUGE difference. I have had a few slip ups… especially when we did cake tasting and catering tasting.. oops  But I kept to it and it really really really has paid off!!

I have about 10 more I’d like to lose by August!!

Good luck and keep up the amazing work!!

niki24:  My wedding isn’t until next May, but engagement pictures are coming up! I have a girlfriend who is a Beachbody coach and she was so excited about a new program called the 21 Day Fix. It’s a program where you work out every single day w/ 30 min. workouts and it teaches you portion control through color coded containers. I feel absolutely amazing! I am 1 week into it and I can already see a difference. To get even better results, I’m working out just a bit extra on the side. Seriously, look into this program as I’ve had other girlfriends try it and have had great results! It was their results that pushed me to start 🙂

I’ve had a lot of luck just by changing up my diet – I avoid sugar when at all possible, and have switched to eating ONLY whole-grains (wheat, bread, pasta, rice, etc.). I saw a huge improvement not only on the scale, but in my measurements. When combined with regular workouts…watch out! 😀

My wedding is in August! I started a weight-loss and workout regimen in January and lost 25 lbs, but have severely stalled for the last two months. I’m in for anything to help me lose a bit more!

I am getting married one month after you in September.  I was a great weight until my doctor put me on meds for my fibro that made me gain almost 12 lbs! The meds made me eat like crazy. I got off in December and over the last months I have lost all of the weight I gained, and my goal is to loose another 5-10 lbs by Semptember for my wedding day.

I am loosing weight simply by eatng very clean. I have a sensetive stomach, so I cut out gluten and dairy.  I eat about 95% unprocessed foods, instead of rice/pasta  I eat quinoa, instead of eggs I eat egg whites. I start each morning with a green smoothie with unflavored protien powder. For snack, I eat carrot sticks, almonds, fruit, etc. I also make sure to eat enough HEALTHY fats, such as olive oil, avacado, fish and nuts. This diet has not only helped me loose weight but also has made my skin clear from any breakouts. I eat a lot of kale/spinach.

Also, dont trust the scale, it does lie indeed. I don’t pay a ton of attention since I am busty and will always be busty, so that right there is probably a good 3-6 lbs of fat. Also, You can be loosing inches and not loose a pound sometimes, or sometimes the otherway around. You should go by how you look, not what the numbers on the scale read.
