So I am trying to tone up since I have had a baby I will post a pic of my heaviest and a pic of when I first went to the gym and now... Im trying to get back on track to get into the gym to tone up some more... I havnt been for a month. Im trying to tone up my arms, stomach, and theighs/ass for the wedding and just to feel really confident again :) So here we go:
My biggest without having a baby in me lol... 140lbs. January 7, 2010
When I started getting into the gym... May 29, 2011
and now... June 28, 2011
I havnt been to the gym though so Im not as "toned" I gotta start back up!!
POST YOUR PICS whether its weight loss or toning!
You look fantastic! Great job. Keep up the good work!! :D
You look freaking GREAT girl!
In this picture I weighed 135-138 this was in 2009 oh & also keep in mind I am 5 foot tall even. (& Its the best picture I can find to show my weight at that time, I didn't keep any pictures from then of just myself.) Where I am so short, when I gain weight its all over weight--tummy, face, arms, thighs, you name it.

This is from early 2010 at the same weight:
& Me now at 115 pounds.

Thanks--I don't really have any tips though. :/ I didn't try to lose weight so I guess my weight loss isn't really worthy. lol (Its due to my high sugar, Type 1 diabetes. Which is totally different than type 2 which is actually caused by weight gain. My type which is type 1 eats body fat to make energy.) :(
Pregnant ladies have the best bodies! I pray that I look that awesome after a baby! Yea, tell us about your exercise and diet!
@Mrs.Estep: Were you born with type 1 diabetes? When you were "heavier" was that due to medication or something?
@Eva Peron: No I found out I had it when I was 13. My insulin makes me gain weight. But right now my sugar has been out of control to the point I overdosed on my insulin on accident & dropped it down to 50!!! YIKES (Its not suppose to go under 70.)
Thanks Everyone!! I just eat around 5 small meals a day and go to the gym 5 days a week for 45min to an hour. I dont really watch what I eat.
@Mrs.Estep: You look great!!
@DarleneP: You look awesome! I'm at the beginning of my transformation (well I lied, I have already lost a good amount of weight, but that is due to a great start on new eating habits. I gained all this weight becaause of thyroid surgery and meds taking 2 years to work properly). So now that I have great energy, great meal plan - I need to hit the gym more! I have more to lose and a lot of toning to work on. Are you doing equal cardio/weights at the gym? You look GREAT btw! : )
I've slipped a little bit the past couple months, but for a while I was looking pretty toned...
I lost 30 lbs... Here's my before and after as of may, I've gained about 5-10lbs back depending on the day... but man, this gives me good motivation to get back to it!

@RR: Aw you're so sweet!! Thank you!
@o0olibelulao0o: Dang girl look at you!!! You look AWESOME!
@DarleneP: thanks, I'm definitely a bit "softer" since I've stopped strength training as much, I've been more focused on running, I need to start lifting weights again! You look awesome! it doesn't even look like you had a baby!
What a great thread for motivation to keep working out!!
Please bees post more pictures!! I need to get my lazy butt to the gym TOMORROW. Or...more correctly...3 months ago...

Lost 30 pounds so far. This is a photo of a 25 pound loss. I want to lose 100! I'm at 31 so far!
@Miss Tattoo: Whoa! You lost 25lbs in less than 3 months?! Congrats! It took me over a year to lose 30!
@o0olibelulao0o: I have a lot of weight to lose, so it came off quick! My starting weight was 302 (in that first photo) so I have a LONG way to go!
You look amazing! It probably took you so long because you were pretty close to your ideal weight. I know ladies in Weight Watchers who have lost 150 pounds and then struggle with the last 20 or so because they are so close to their goal.
I wish I could run, but I have a bad knee. Ugh. It's an old dancing injury.
WOWEEEEE!!! You girls all look soooo amazing! I've been trying to watch my intake lately, but am hopeful that your pics will inspire me to get off of my butt and do something physical. I can do it...it's all about the mindset.
@o0olibelulao0o: wow wow wow! You are so fit and beautiful! What did you do? Strength training on top of running?
@Miss Tattoo: Love it! Such quick results! Keep up the awesome work!!
If anyone wants to see my FH's weight loss for some more inspiration, here is a great one!!
He lost 60lbs in only 5 months!!! He used diet pills, good eating, running on the treadmill, and lifted weights. He gained some back but is going back on a strict diet again and going down to around 165 or 170
March 2010 242lbs
April 2010 217lbs
August 2010 182lbs
@DarleneP: Aww how handsome! Everyone must feel great in your house with getting healthy :)
What diet pills?
@Eva Peron: He is a cutie :P lol and do you have an aspen clinic by you? They prescribe you with diet pills every month until you get to a good size to where you have to diet on your own without the pills. I'll have to ask him what the name is, hes at work right now.
Yuck I hate the first picture. The first picture was taken in march. The second one is my most recent picture and 20 lbs lighter as of yesterday.

Everyone looks really good. I'm impressed.
You do not look 300lbs in the first picture. Are you really tall?
@Cash000: lol everyone says that! I'm 5'11 and seriously hide my weight well. My biggest problem area is my stomach and thighs.
@Immacoconut: oh wow! You look amazing!
I love real life photos of weight transformations! I sometimes don't trust the online photos of success stories advertisting for a product because photoshop does wonders! Even celebrity weight loss photos don't inspire me because they have all sorts of resources that normal people don't have access to! So it's nice to see real life photos of people getting smaller and healthier because it gives everyone who is struggling hope!
Lucky, I wish I was tall! haha, I gain 10 lbs, and you really can tell!
I agree, that real life pictures are inspiring. I love the success story section on www.myfitnesspal.com when I feel like eating too much, or not working out I just browse in there, and get my ass into gear. :)
I lost just over 50 pounds over the period of a year. I just did it by eating a lot healthier and I started running. I went from not being able to run for 2 minutes straight to being able to run 12 miles without stopping. It's definitely a process but so worth it!!
Before...

And after...

Wow! What an inspiration :) I REALLY need to lose 10-15 lbs. before the wedding. I have 10 months to do it but it seems so hard. You ladies def just gave me the kick in the butt I need!
@Running Elley: wow, you look amazing! How did you train yourself to run/ build up to that?
Everyone looks so great!
@MrsStormy:Thanks!! I started by doing the Couch to 5k program and then I just kept running! By the time you finish that you can run for 30 minutes straight usually so I just basically kept building on that. I started using a marathon training program too to help me get used to longer runs. Once I had built up my endurance (after running for about 7-8 months) it was pretty easy to increase the distance.
@Eva Peron: Yes ma'am. I run 3-4 times a week (I'm training for a half marathon right now) and I used to lift weights/cross train twice a week and do 10-20 minutes of abs 3-5 days a week...
Aaaaand... I'm headed to the gym tomorrow. I have lost about 35 over the last year and half but have just hit the biggest, ugliest, lamest plateau ever!
It's ON!

Not sure when that was but this is now-ish.

@Running Elley: what is your secret? I have 3 months to go before my wedding. I am 5'3 and weight 132. I've gone down 8 lbs but really want to go down to 125 and tone up!
@o0olibelulao0o: you too lady. Both of you look amazing! well everyone does :)
Before picture is during my first or second year of uni. Typical freshman 15. Not too mention a diet of beer and pizza!
After: Losing close to 20 lbs.

Here's me. I lost 40 pounds within a 6-month time frame. I'm 5' 4" and went from 175 to 135. I did the Weight Watchers model but didn't buy the program...just counted calories basically, cooked healthy meals, and ran 5-6 times a week for about an hour. I trained for a 10K and continued training for a half-marathon. No other tricks...just old school diet and exercise. I've gained back 7 though and am sooo afraid of letting it get out of control.
Thanks for the motivation ladies. Everyone looks amazing.
I started working out and really watching my diet about 3 weeks ago to get ready for the wedding. Threds like this keep me motivated to keep going because the pounds will come off.
@Miss Tattoo: and @Immacoconut: You both have fabulous figures!
Everyone looks amazing! I need to get crackin' I guess! Sheesh, this thread is some motivation!
All of you look fantastic! This thread is so motivational. I don't have any pics right now, but I'm working on losing 30 pounds and have been hitting cardio hard.
