Hey bees! Just wanted to share my fitness progress with you. I just posted these pics in another thread and got all excited about sharing them!
The pics on the left are from the day I ordered my dress, and the pics on the right are from 4 months later, 30 lbs down, the day my actual dress came in. Needless to say, my dress is HUGE, as it was 1 size larger than the sample to begin with.
I’ve been using MFP pretty religiously. To be honest, the 30 lbs you see gone in those pics was probably 80-90% from diet. I did about half of C25K and I walk several miles a day (city girl) but that was about it. I’ve just recently started 2 twice a week fitness classes – one is pretty intense (mainly circuit training type workouts) and the other is yoga. Interested to see how I continue to progress between now and the wedding!

Great job! That took a lot of hard work and you should be proud of yourself! I hope I can come on here and post some similar progress pictures in the future!

DANG! You look fantastic! I’d love to be MFP friends if you’re interested. I’m trying to lose at least 20 more by May.
Also, I’m considering driving a LONG way just to try on a Enzoani dress with tulle that I’ve fallen in love with online. How is the tulle on your dress? Is it stiff or really soft? Any words of advice? It’s the Dalby, for reference.

@bluebelle23: I’m not the OP but I’ll be your MFP friend! I’m also trying to lose weight (14 lbs) by May 18th!! PM me your username and I’ll add you!
@Becs: You look amazing! I love that dress. Congratulations on your weight loss. MFP is a miracle worker, isn’t it?? I started using it 2 years ago and have gradually lost 22 pounds. It is hard work but worth it.

Feel free to add me, either/both of you! My username is becs_91.
@bluebelle23: I can’t recommend Enzoani enough! How long of a trip are we talking? I’d say it’s almost definitely worth it. The tulle is definitely not stiff. I wouldn’t say it’s completely soft to the touch, like a chiffon or something, but for tulle it’s pretty dang soft and flowy. Not scratchy or stiff.
I will also say, even though the Blue by Enzoani line is less expensive, the quality is NOT sacrificed. Mine was $1600, and compared to most of the other dresses I had tried in that range and even the $2000-3000 range, I was blown away by the quality, especially for lace.

@Becs: Great job on the weight loss!! You are looking great!! What is your goal??
I too am on the wieght loss journey. Have not been on a scale in a few weeks. Last time I weighed I only lost ((((1)))) pound. So I was pretty disappointed. So now I am using the tape measure. I am down 2 inches off my waist, 1 off my bust and hips. So that makes me feel better!!
I hope to get on the exercise routine soon. Still in the deep thrones of winter here, so hopefully in the next month or so I will get moving.
Thanks for the inspiration. And please keep us posted on your journey.
