Exercise : I go to a personal trainer 4x a week for ab a hour per session. lots of heavy weights

Pros: i have perfectly stuck to the carb nite program (carb nite is tonight!! google it :)) and i haven’t missed a workout session in months!!

Cons: My weight fluctuated over the weekend bc i had wayyyy too much sodium last friday night. definitely will be watching my sodium intake more carefully

I’ll participate! I don’t have many people to talk to about it either other than my FI.

Age: 28

Height:5′ 5

Intake: Was doing low carb but am switching to IIFYM

Exercise : Beachbody programs on Xbox One and walking the dogs

Pros: down 1 pound

Cons: Had a cheat day and gained 2 pounds putting me back where I started

Personal Notes: starting IIFYM b/c the low carb thing limits so much. And I was vegan for awhile and I’d like to get back to that but doing low carb makes that pretty much impossible.

Age: 26

Intake: 1200 calorie diet

Exercise : 30 day Shred.  I’m so behind on this, I’m sure it’s considered obsolete, but I AM LOVING IT.

Pros: kicked my diet back into gear (went from 143-130 in late 2013)

Cons: Healthy food is boring.  No one wants to hear me whine about how I’m so hungry (SHOCKER!)

Personal Notes: Vacation was last week and I overindulged in every sense of the word.  Since returning I’ve been really motivated to drop my last 10-15lbs.  It’s taken me a long time to feel motivated again so I am pumped.  Hungry, but pumped.

Did I mention I’m hungry?

Hellooooo id like to contribute!

Age: 26

Height: 5’2″

Weight: 210 (I used to be 237. Lost 37 about two years ago and only 10 crept back when I stopped really trying)

intake: cut out refined carbs and sugars a whole ago. My one indulgence is sweetened coffee creamer. I like it because I never feel starved. I eat what I want (in appropriate portions) when I want. I’ll have a salad for lunch loaded with raw green veggies, beans, nuts, avocado, and even cheese. I pretty much eat that everyday then a protien and vegetable for dinner. Breakfast is usually plain cottage cheese or eggs and turkey bacon.

Exercise: Every weekend I go to a local park and do a 5k. My fastest time so far is 38 mins! One ir two weekdays I’ll go to the gym and do a full body strength circuit. And then another two weekdays I’ll do a walk/run/sprint outdoor workout or a Jillian michaela circuit in my apt.

Pros: I don’t crave carbs anymore!

Cons: I’m not losing weight. I’m not gaining either. But I feel like the scale doesnt go down because I’m eating too much fat and protien.

I have hypothyroidism so losing weight is suchhhhh a struggle. The fatigue is killer. I sit at a desk all day at a relatively low stress job, and I still have to seriously fight the urge to nap when I get home. But I recently bought a size 10 dress and also bought mt wedding dress in a bridal 18 – wayyy smaller than I thought I would need. I think I’m going to toss my scale soon.

Mistress_K:  Stupid question but are you posting your weight/height in metric? I read it as 175″ tall and 100 lbs…. Sooooo something isn’t right lol.

Also I love being sore. I’m sorry youre in pain but just remember its cause you powered through and pushed yourself!

Anyway I had some awesome runs on Friday and Saturday. It’s been so nice and I love running when it’s hot out so I skiped the gym twice last week! (Eeeekkk!) Lotsof strength to catch up on. I did have 2 margaritas Saturday night though. Oopssss.

Yesterday I went to the beach with some friends. Swam in the ocean and walked around the island. I got TERRIBLY SUNBURNED. I got home and my fiancé wouldn’t give me a hug because he could feel the heat coming off me! I just weighed myself and I’m at 216!!! I gained 6 lbs!!! I’m hoping it’s just water weight? I’m sunburned on my arms chest back and legs. Pretty much everywhere. Going to drink a ton of water and amp up raw veggie intake. Sadly I can’t work out and probably won’t be able to for a few day because I’m hurting gggg. Lol

age: 33

height 5’4″

weight: 168

Intake: FI and I are following a ketogenic diet.

Exercise: Piyo 3-4x a week, arms & abs 2-3x a week

Pros: I have lost 4lbs since I started this diet & exercise plan 12 days ago! I also am seeing a change in my body, specially my problem area, my belly.

Cons: Stress eating!!!! Work stress especially, ugh that last few days have been bad. I leave there and want all the bad junky fast food on the planet. I haven’t succumb, it’s just frustrating.

@missfox Don’t give up! Even if you fall off for awhile, you can start back up again!! It happened to me too! Earlier this year we went Paleo, were working out, I lost 2 dress sizes then we fell  off the wagon for 2 months and gained everything back!!! Dumb but it happens. Just dust the dirt off your shoulder and start making small changes again. Share your trials and tribulations! I’ll start following this thread to help support anyone! Check out myfitnesspal.com and they have apps for the phone too. Has helped me tons!!!!

Age: 28

Height: 5’4

Intake: Eat healthy, cut mindless snacking/emotional eating

Exercise : Weight Train 2x weekly with my trainer, Zumba 1x-2x week, HIIT class 1x week.

Pros: I’ve felt SO strong learning to lift, I flipped a 250lb tire last week 15x (5 on my own, 10 with help haha)! It was difficult but my trainer was really impressed.

Cons: This week is the first time in 2 months I’ve skipped the gym, my allergies are kicking my ass. I feel so guilty!

Personal Notes: I love how I can see a change in my endurance and strength, going from a kneeling forearm plank to a full plank, etc.
