Let me start out by saying I am a HUGE fan of WW. I started WW back in Feb 2012 at my heaviest weight (158) and lost a total of 30 lbs in 5 months. I haven’t really 100% gone back to WW since July of 2012. However, now that my wedding is less than 6 months away I want to get back on it and lose the bit I have gained back – nothing awful just 5-10 lbs (I will offically weigh myself in the morning).
Any other brides doing WW?? I found my first time around it REALLY helps to have buddies to share treat and recipe finds, as well as weigh in success with 🙂

@McBezel: I love skinny taste too and have continued to use it for the last year and half counting points or not, but I feel like her recipes just become increasinly more complicated and as much as a I love cooking I dont always have tons of time.
However, she posted something I saw earlier today I was drooling over!

I focus on lightened up comfort food and mine are all pretty easy and have ww points listed 🙂
Skinnytaste is obviously awesome and you can also check out slender kitchen, dashing dish and eat yourself skinny!

@esk716: I have made a ton of things from your blog, how cool! I havent heard of eat yourself skinny though – I will check that out.
I am only up 3.6 lbs from when I got off WW so all is well! Guess more of it is in my head than anything. Either way I would LOVE to reach my lowest weight which I am still 7.6 lbs away from – very doable 🙂
@soontobewithhim: I agree, which is why I was able to bascially maintain for 1.5 years – however, there is something to be said for the accountability of having to track the food.

I lost 25 pounds on WW last year and let 5 lbs creep back on that I’d like to lose. I maintain easily at this weight, so I think I can maintain at 5 pounds lighter as well. I just have to convince myself to get back in the counting mode.

I was on WW before I started dating my BF in 2012. I lost 25 pounds, but it took a long time for me – 8 months. Of course I gained it all back since then. My pants are beginning to get a little too tight, so I went back on plan Thursday. Already lost 2 pounds.
I was a little embarrassed when I told my BF what I was doing. He was very supportive, which made me love him even more.
Week 1: -2 lbs
First Goal: 179, 4 more to go

I just joined WW today and I am so excited! I’ve been using janky knock offs but I am really serious about losing the lbs and wanted to commit to the whole shebang.

i’m doing WW and i absolutely love it. i started last year and lost 12 lbs right away because i was following it just the way i should. then i stopped for a while and now that it’s 2014 and months til my wedding, i’m back on it. i love it because i still have some freedom and now FI and i have been going to the gym at least 3x a week… i love it.

Ive been just gaining and losing the same 5 lbs. Lose all week, splurge on weekends and gain it all back! Im hoping actually paying for WW will give me the consistency and motivation I need to keep losing.

I’ve been doing WW for over a year now and I’ve taken over 50 lbs off.
Unfortunately I picked up a (at that point) temp seasonal second job that usually has me working Saturdays. THAT WAS MY WEIGH-IN DAY!! So… I may not have gone to a meeting for about a month and a half. =(
I’m hoping though, that this new year, the new engagement, and the wedding will spur me to start eating rt again (the holidays side tracked me… although I do believe I only gained MAYBE 5 lbs nov/dec), exercising again, and in general start really working the program to maybe lose another 30-50 lbs before this November. FI thinks I’ll be happy with how I look finally after another 10-15 is gone, but idk. it’s a slippery slope! It doesn’t help that I’m super short.
My sister has lost about 80 lbs on WW, my best friend has lost about 80 lbs, and my SAI sister has lost almost 300 lbs on WW.
