Sorry I didn't see this before! Weight watchers is the way to go! I started it a little over a week ago and when I went in for my weekly weigh in I lost 2.4 pounds! There are many great things about weight watchers - the program stresses life changes instead of just a "diet."

I have been doing WW online since mid-January and have lost 17 lbs.  I feel great, and even got my fiance to join in.  He, of course, lost the same amount of weight in less than half the time, but men have most things easy, right?  Anyway, I'm hoping to lose another 20 lbs by my wedding in July 2011, so I have lots of time.  It feels good to know I can do it slowly but surely.  That dress hanging in my closet is all the motivation I need!

We should all feel really good about making healthy changes that will not only have us looking amazing on our big days, but will allow us many happy years with our new hubbies.  Keep up the good work, ladies!

    Hello everyone.

Just today I rejoined WW.  Last time I was on it I lost 30lbs, so looking to do at least that again.  Though I want to lose much more than that.  Especially after dropping WW a few years ago, I have gained back the 30 I lost and then some.

I have been doing weight watchers since October and I am down 55 pounds.  I use the on-line tools every day to track my food and exercise (although I don't swap out activity points for food points) and I go to my meetings every week.  I have a great leader who is very motivating and have found a great support system.  I have 5 months before the Big Day and am hoping to lose another 40 lbs before then. I have been averaging about 2 lbs a week, although that is starting to slow down a bit.  I think Weight Watchers is a great way to relearn healthier eating and exercise habits.  I even started running in January and completed a 10K in April, which was a huge acomplishment.  One of my mantra's is "one bite tastes like the rest", and even tell people that when they push food. You can do whatever you put your mind to!  Good luck Forever Young and all other WW brides!

Weight Watchers is the way to go!  I have lost 42 lbs so far by counting points and working out on a regular basis.  The only thing I suggest is to be careful of some of the snacks that you "can eat" on WW but really shouldn't because of all the processed ingredients.  If you go beyond counting the points and eat more natural foods you will lose all the more weight.  Good Luck!!!!

I'm down 29, with 6 to go. I've been on it for 17 months. I went to meetings for the first year, but now do e-tools. I love it.

It's inspiring to see all of us at different points in our journeys and it's just true--WW works!

another WW bride here! was on it a while ago, lost a lot, met my fiance, gained it back, thought that once i was engaged i would be motivated to loose weight (but did not)...just started again this past monday and have been on track so far...only about 4 months to go- wish i could loose 60 lbs but i know that's not feasible...will be happy with loosing 20 which i know i can do (while hoping for more) :)

congratulations to everyone for being an inspiration!
