So a few years ago I lost 20 lbs on weight watchers…. And I now I realize I am 6 lbs over my goal and 9 lbs over my lowest weight…. I have 2 weeks until my first fittings. Zoink. Think I can lose 6 lbs in 2 weeks? lol

DATE TWIN!!!!!!!!!! what type of back does your dress have?? Because a corset back would be awesome right now (since you could lose more weight after your fitting) I think you could at a minimum lose 3 lbs, in a healthy way but 6 may be pushing it. Also for my first fitting (last week)… all they did was hem and figure out the bustle. I’m sure different seamstresses do different things but she didn’t even look at the rest of the dress for fitting properly. Also I wouldn’t just look at the poundage, I’d look at toning up and inches. I can lose 5 lbs in a week (water weight or period weight) and look pretty much the same.

You should really only lose 1-2 lbs per week if you are doing it the right/healthy way on weight watchers. But, there were a few weeks where I lost 3+ lbs. You better start now and you better be strict! I would not use any of your flex points or just the bare minimum and you can do it! Good luck! Definitely cut out alcohol, limit carbs, measure your portions, no soda, lots of water, and mega fruits and vegetables.

@Woodstock: Date twin! Yay! I have a zipper back 🙁 I was so set on getting buttons that I didn’t think of the benefits to a corset closure… And thanks for the advice!
@Krises: No flex points for me! Got it 🙂
