Didn't see one for this week, so I figured I'd kick it off!

I usually weigh in on Saturdays, but last week and this week I've had to go early due to Holidays.  I'll be going to weigh in this morning (I'm so lucky I have the flexibility to work from home occasionally!).

How's everyone doing?  Are you nervous about weight watchers meetings, gyms, etc becoming a mob scene after the new year with everyones' resolutions?

I'm honestly just hoping I didn't lose weight again (I'm supposed to be maintaining) because if I did, I really don't know what else I can do!  But I guess that's a good problem to have...the thing is I've found myself being less healthy because I know I need to get back up to my goal weight, which is stupid.  Like I had a non-fat mocha and a piece of coffee cake yesterday morning...I was still in plan, but 3 weeks ago I never would have eaten that, I would have chose something healthier.

I was in Pittsburgh for almost 4 days and am NOT going to weigh in.

How do you lose weight in Pittsburgh?!? So much good food, it's so cold, and the produce I bought at Giant Eagle to TRY to snack healthy was gross.

Ugh. Not weighing in - I will on the 8th, and hope to lose as close to a pound as possible - which would be for two weeks.

I think I need a new scale. Today I weight myself 4 times beecause it seemed screwy. Weights were:

    159.5

    168

    159.2

    167.8

I recorded the 167.8 (which is a 3.4lb gain) but I am not 100% sure what is right!

I usually leave my scale in the exact same place in the bathroom but when I weight on it in that spot it kept giving me an error. Then I moved it and I was w/i a 10lb range.

    *sigh*

@KatNYC2011: wow that's a big discrepancy - is it an electronic scale?

I actually changed my weigh in day to Wednesday, so yesterday I had lost about .8 pounds, which seems to be pretty regular for me at this point for the week.  I was pretty happy with that after my gorge-fest over the weekend!  I hit my -15 this week, which is exciting!

@hermitcrab: Yup. It's a health-o-meter and has been fantastic up until today!

I did get it almost 4 years ago... what are the life times on electronic scales?

@jindc: It depends on the giant eagle you go to! hahaha Some of them are what we like to call "Dirty Birds" instead of "Giant Eagles" hahahahahahaha

I'm down again...1.2 this time, which brings me to 128.8...most people would be happy, I am not!

First of all, I think they're starting to plan their intervention, even though I keep telling them I'm not trying to lose weight anymore! (I don't think they believe me)  The leader at the meeting I went to (I usually go Saturdays but it's closed this Saturday) says next meeting I should sit down with my leader to go over everything that I eat over the course of the week to see if there's anything I can do to stop losing.  But I'm also starting to kind of worry...I swear to you, I should not have lost weight this week; I only worked out twice, I ate like a horse all weekend, and although I stayed on plan on the weekdays (which mind you, I'm eating 35 freaking points a day) I didn't eat great.  I went out to lunch one day and had chicken fingers and french fries, and yesterday I ate coffee cake.  I'm starting to fear that there's something wrong and that's why I'm continuing to lose.  I have been extra tired lately, but that I've blamed on the crap weather.  And I seem to have a bunch of unexplainable bruises, but I just usually blame my clutsy dogs for that...but being tired, bruising easily, and losing weight could be signs of something bad.  I think it's time to make a doctors appointment. mleh.  That seriously blows.

manda - have you been to your doctor?  You might want to check in just to be sure....

I know Giant Eagles and Dirty Birds but really - a banana is a banana!  I don't know how I lived there before they had a Whole Foods.  It opened my senior year, i think, and man was that like the best thing that ever happened.  I'd schlep my bags and bags of groceries on the 71D like a crazy person.

@jindc: Yeah...that'll be my new years resolution...to talk to my doctor, lol (aka I'm going to enjoy my weekend then talk to the doctor).  And I'm a huge fan of Market District vs. Giant Eagle...there's one in Robinson that is AMAZING!  Market District is much more like Whole Foods/any nicer grocery store then Giant Eagle.

Tues was my third week weighing in back on the program and I weighed exactly the same 194.1, but today I weighed in just to see my after christmas progress out of curiosity and I was down to 193 so I lost 1.1 since Tuesday!  I am pretty happy with that.  I am hopeing to get down to 180 by the time I try on wedding dresses in April and 158 by the time I get married next April 2012.

I weighed in at home this week. My weeks are normally crazy, so I was cutting out everything extra, in order to give myself a break. I am back to where I was two years ago, which is a bummer, but no surprise. I've already started planning out my meals for next week. I will do my grocery shopping on Sunday and plan accordingly! I'm excited to start again :-). My goal is to go wedding dress shopping at the end of March and be down 15 - 20 lbs. Lofty goal, but I don't think it's impossible.

I gained about 2 lbs this week. I'm surprised it wasn't more. But after tomorrow night I'm back on the horse BIG TIME.

@la boome: I swear to god all I do is eat, haha. I need to start doing less (or less intense) cardio because I really CANNOT eat all my activity points right now. I'm gonna have to talk to my leader about it next weekend.

I gained 2lbs, but considering the mountains of food that confronted me at every turn for the past week I'm surprised it's not more! I can't believe I'm saying this, but I can't wait to get back to work and into my routine again.

MY scale doesn't say I've gained (it says I've lost) which is impossible given what I ate while I was in Pittsburgh and even last night on a NYE dinner.

I haven't yet figured out the difference between my scale and the WW scale, but I'm sticking to my points this week so hopefully in the two weeks since I last weighed in, something will come off.  I'm also going to work out more....
