I gained weight this holiday season. A total of 5.4 lbs between 14 December and now...I will also admit to not having exercised nor paid any attention to what went into my mouth. It is my own fault and I am owning up to it. I am, however, exceedingly happy it wasn't more weight! lol
I am actually already down about 0.75 lbs for this week (I cheated and weighed myself early, heheh).
I gained about 4.6lbs over the holidays, planning to get back on track Monday.. :)
Haven't been in two weeks, but between holiday goodies at work, the death of my grandmother and the traveling/family meals that involved, I am very worried about tomorrow morning!
I don't sleep well the night before my weigh-ins, either. It's not fun, but still worth it, I guess!
I'm down 1.8 this week (after gaining 3 last week). But glad to be headed back in the right direction.
Now I REALLY need to up my time at the gym.
i lost 2.8 this week (i weigh in on mondays) i weighed myself on thursday (just out of curiosity since i was so close to hitting a big milestone) and i lost another 1.4 brining my total weight loss to 70 lbs since I started weight watchers orignially, and 8 lbs since I got back on hard core 4 weeks ago :)
I have weigh in on Monday (NZ time) and I'm nervous and excited. On our home scales I'm down - not quite as much as I would like but pretty good :)
I gained 5 pounds over the holidays! Yikes! I've already lost 3 of those (which I'm sure were water weight) but I'm still feeling a bit of the "holiday funk" when it comes to eating and working out. I'm just a little short on motivation! I've been back on plan since Sunday, and I know that I can stick with it, but I am still struggling a bit.
I weigh in on Sunday morning. It feels good to see the scale moving in the right direction again, it's just hard to face reality after you've been carefree for a couple of weeks.
I maintained over the holiday season thank goodness. It seemed like all I ate was cookies! Now I am back to losing. I keep seeing that people say they "cheated" and peeked on their home scale? Are we not supposed to look at our own scale?
I rejoined last night, and was ten damn pounds up on 8 months ago. However, I was only 2 up on where I thought I was.
So happy enough with that really, and am v enthused about the new program - I'm literally just this minute after realising that while I've eaten all my daily points and one of my weeklies, - (it is 10.30 pm here) - I can go and eat lots of fruit for nothing. Yay!
@princessbelle: I never yet saw a domestic scale that ever agreed with a ww scale. Theirs always seem to weigh heavier! I'm sure lots of people keep track on both, once you don't muddle the figures up and get confused!
I missed my meeting this week, but I weighed in at home. I am up 4 lbs from the holidays. I did well with my tracking this week, but there were so many things that tripped me up. We went to Outback for lunch and then to a movie, so I had unhealthy stuff back-to-back. We went out for lunch and dinner on Monday, and we went out on Tuesday. I did go to a Zumba class, which was really fun! I also went back to my trampoline class.
This week's goal is to continue to track and try my best to avoid some of those sticky situations.
I definitely don't "agree" with my home scale. it was a good help when I wasn't going to the meeting for the last two weeks, but I like having the one scale - i guess if I know what the difference was between theirs and mine, I could just use that info to calculate...but theirs do always seem heavier. Best to compare to the SAME scale you weighed in with the first time IMO
I joined on Sunday (online), so will weigh in this Sunday. I feel better, so I hope all is good. I was feeling so disgusting and bloated and just plain gross - so I decided to join.
And I just signed up for Planet Fitness. Woo hoo! Will go Sunday!
I'm nervous for my weigh in this morning. But not because I'm afraid I gained...if you've been following my "journey" at all I'm having a lot of trouble with maintenance and I'm afraid I lost more ...fingers crossed that I at least stayed the same, or else I'm making a doctor's appointment!!!
I'M BACK UP TO A HEALTHY WEIGHT! I didn't get here in a healthy way (why hello red robbin...well hi there movie theater popcorn) but at least now I can try and change things up a little bit and try to stay where I am (131.2).
Down a pound. That's over about two weeks, though, because our meeting was canceled for two Saturdays in a row (so I weighed in the Friday before Christmas), and then had a death in the family so couldn't get to a meeting.
But I'll take it. A pound loss is a pound loss! It is DEFINITELY slower than my first few weeks. 7.2lbs total in about 6 weeks. Not that great, but better than nothing
Down .4 this week which is actually better than I expected since I usually maintain during my "lady week" :)
I was up 2.5 lbs last weekend, today I weighed in and am down 3.5, I'm pretty excited that I lost the water weight from christmas/new years eating plus a pound. I'm doing online WW now instead of just tracking on the old points system on my own. I have to say that I love the new points system, I agree with aunt pol, free fruit is the best!
Started Weight Watchers online 5 days ago and I'm down 3 lbs. I know the weight loss won't be as high every week after the first week or two but it still pleases me to no end! Yay! Feels good to be eating healthy this week and I actually just feel better! Congrats everyone on your weight loss this week. :) Can I just say how happy I am that Christmas is over with so there aren't any more cookies, candy, etc. I don't know how you all did this during the holidays. I would have gained so much weight. LOL
the first couple of weeks' weight loss is definitely motivating. It does slow down as you get in the groove, but it's still a great feeling
I went to my first meeting today. I lost 50lbs two years ago and have slowly gained it all back. I am really excited about the new plan. It makes a lot more sense to me!
I was traveling this week, so no meeting for me. I am pretty sure I have maintained since Dec 17th. I miss the meetings and can't wait to go back next week!
I just joined last wednesday - so this week has been an interesting experience - mostly staying on plan, but I've definitely had a few more glasses of wine than I should. However what's helping is the 1 point vegetable soup that I eat before every lunch and dinner - keeps me up in vegetables, keeps me full and is definitely healthier than raiding the cookie jar!
I'm so glad I found this thread. I joined WW in Oct. but feel hard of the wagon after I got engaged, which then rolled into the holidays. I'm planning on weighing in this coming Thurs - eeeek!
Ok, so I'm down 2 pounds for my first week. I wish it was more, especially since it's the first week, but oh well.
I start going back to the gym today, so will hopefully see a better number next week!
I'd like to join you all, if that's ok. This was my first week and I'm down 1.6 pounds. I exercised a lot, but had a tough food week with 3 different events with little control over food choices. I keep reminding myself this is a marathon and not a race. I'm off to the store soon to pick up lots of fruit and veggies so I can prep for the week. :)
Down 4 pounds in today's WI. I can't get too excited about that though since this is my first week back and we know that one usually has the most lost. I get really hungry sticking to the plan, so I'm trying to really utilize those free fruit options. Good luck to my fellow WW bees.
@chrispygal:same here, I feel ya!
Yeah, I'm currently looking up the recipes. Will head out to the store in a few to pick things up and will just cook 2 or 3 dishes to last for lunch and dinner all week. Looking forward to not having to think about what I should eat all week. It will all be stored in the perfect portions - just take it and go!
@luli29: I had a thread on here about WW recipes people recommend. The Senagalese Peanut Stew was SO good as leftovers, I can't even explain - everyone at work was jealous because it smelled so good!
It was better as leftovers to be honest!
Hey bees,
Had my meeting tonight - so many new people! Had my first formal weigh in since 20th of December and was down 3.3 pounds for a total of 12.1 pounds. Just another 1.3 pounds to achieve my 5% goal
Really starting to knuckle down on exercise so hope I'll make it next weigh in!
I have my meeting today, i was 1.9kg (4.1lbs) down on my scales at home, so I hope hope hope I am that far down at the meeting!! Eep!
Ggggggrrrrr - i only lost 0.8kg at the meeting, about 1.7lbs, its still a loss! But i really wish we could do the weigh in first thing in the morning and with no clothes on :-)
Need to earn more exercise points this week!
Oh jees the home scales are annoying me. Trying to factor in the scale differences it looks like I'm just maintaining. Damn you Aunt Flo!
WOO HOO!! I was down 6 lbs this week!! The wierd thing was the scale was spot on with my home scale.

Hey Ladies!
I missed my weigh-in last week but went today. I have maintained my weight since Christmas eve, which means over the whole holiday season I gained 2.5 lbs. I am pretty pleased with that! Now back to losing. I am 5 lbs from my goal weight. I hope to get there over the next 4 weeks!
How did everyone else do?
